Wilkinson has recently announced the release of his eagerly anticipated debut album Lazers Not Included on 21st October 2013 via RAM records. Wilkinson, has been on unstoppable form since the huge Radio 1 playlisted ‘Need To Know’ and most recent single ‘Heartbeat’ featuring Arlissa and P Money, which firmly established him as one of the UK’s hottest producers and DJs. New single ‘Afterglow’, with vocals by Becky Hill, premiered last night at Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record In The World and a snippet can be heard HERE.

Lazers Not Included will be sure to stamp Wilkinson’s name in the faces of a worldwide audience. Wilkinson’s debut introduces a new raft of stand-out singles including the summer anthem ‘Heartbeat’ with Arlissa & P Money and brand new single ‘Afterglow’, a soulful and spine-tingling track, stuffed with trademark booming bass.

Blessed with an astute A&R ear, Wilkinson has enlisted some of the freshest UK vocal talent to appear on his debut. As well as P Money, Arlissa and Becky Hill, Wilkinson also teams up with Iman and Detour City. Some of these will join Wilkinson at his headline Brixton show, as part of Ram’s event at London’s Brixton Academy on November 1st. Preceding this show, Wilkinson will be playing an exciting host of international festivals including Secret Garden Party, Global Gathering, Outlook, Pukkelpop and Bestival and then head out on tour around Europe, please see full dates overleaf.

Unified by Wilkinson’s sharp production skills that earned him a ‘Best Breakthrough Producer’ award at the National D&B awards, ‘Lazers Not Included’ is filled with an undeniable quality that has seen Wilkinson top the iTunes Electronic Chart and earn Radio 1 champions in the form of MistaJam, Annie Mac, Nick Grimshaw and Zane Lowe, and a ‘Record of the Week’ from Sara Cox.

One of Drum&BassArena’s hot picks for 2013, Stealth lives up to his name in every way… Quietly making big moves behind the scenes, grafting hard at his dark sonic art, earning his stripes, waiting for the right time to pounce on his prey… 

Well the time is now, and we are all his prey. Going in for the kill with his Program debut, the London-based artist has made his move with precision instinct, leaping on us with two rich, rampant rollers just when we least expect it. 

Inherently underground and immaculately timeless, both ‘Scrummage’ and ‘Nanite’ purr with intricate production prowess. Late night vibes for drum & bass connoisseurs, they carry the hallmarks longevity, offering something new on every listen. 

‘Scrummage’ leads. Opening with crisp, cold atmospheric subtleties, a waspish bassline zips its way into the mix by way of crafty LFO. Fluctuating with angular attitude, the bassline soon becomes the main melody, pinging us back and forth with gritty cheekiness. As we roll deeper into the mix, we’re introduced to haunted one-shot human elements and a wealth of sub bass that underpins the whole composition. Vicious without the shoutiness; like the genuine tough guys who never even have to raise their voice, ‘Scrummage’ is 100 per cent killer. 

The icy vibe continues on ‘Nanite’. Sharp, stark and steppy, this one’s home to yet more creamy sub bass and pensive, synapse-snapping kicks, conjuring up memories of the mid-to-late 90s when drum & bass was really finding its own identity. Boasting a truly menacing vocal sample, the track title might have connotations of a sweet night’s sleep but the overall message is clear: don’t have nightmares. 

Two killer workouts, one unmissable label debut. Once again, it’s time to get with the Program!

"I guess the main idea behind 'AYO!' was to make something crunchy and lo-fi, but still heavy enough for the&#13;
floor. I think I was listening to a lot of Timbaland beats around the time I built this one - I've always loved the&#13;
massive kicks and weird squashy snares he uses, so I wanted to try something along those lines at DnB speed.&#13;
The rest seemed to flow quite organically and Redders brought his usual charisma and animation to the vocal.&#13;
Like the man says, everyone knows he mashes up the show…&#13;
'Freezy' is a bit more straightforward - something like a tribute to classic bouncing-subs jungle, but with added&#13;
southern crunk vibes and a chunky halfstep beat. If I remember rightly, there's a gun being cocked over each&#13;
snare, and I brought the hardware sampler out to get the pads and synths sounding suitably 1995." &#13;

‘Gindhouse’ succinctly shows why the boys are in such high demand; imagine zooming down a long tunnel carved deep into a mountain made purely of bass. Lights flickering past flashing in the corner of your eyes, one dedicated direction, no obstacles – just pure hyper-speed clarity. 

Nitro-boosted breakbeats, precision engineered bass droning with mass power, dipping and rising subtly raising every possible hair on your neck. Savage yet suave, ‘Gindhouse’ surges with every timeless rave nuance you can imagine. Trust us: this will sound just as heavy in 20 or 50 year’s time as it does now. 

‘If You Only Knew’ plays the perfect foil. Deeper and more soulful but just as powerful, it instantly engages with dreamy piano flurries and tight rolling percussion. A flicker of a yearning vocal follows before we’re suddenly enveloped by undiluted sub bass, humming with low-end luxury. 

And so we continue… The sub develops a confident growl while very subtle synth elements make themselves known on the fills and poignant, emotive pads ease their way into the blend. A quintessential roller, this promises to take your floor far, far away to places they didn’t know existed. 

Showcasing two wholly different sides to their repertoire, this is Chroma’s most accomplished release so far. It’s time, once again, to get with the Program.
