Dj Mondo, hailing from Tampa Florida, is known for his high energy dance sets and his mix of electro, house, breaks, and mash-ups. Mondo, since 1997, has rocked dance floors all over the country, from Miami to LA and from Las Vegas to NYC. For 5 years, Mondo, spun live on 93.3 FLZ’s Saturday Night Live every Saturday night while being the resident dj at Florida’s largest and most exclusive nightclub, The Amphitheater. Mondo continues to spin alongside world class djs such as: David Guetta, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Benny Benassi, BT, Oscar G, Bad Boy Bill, Dj Icey , Baby Anne, ATB, The Crystal Method, and many more. Mondo is Co-owner and founder of After Dark Records, and he has also produced the highly successful mixed CD compilation series: “dj Mondo - Tampa Breaks” volumes 1 thru 6. Mondo has over 45 singles and vinyl record releases to his name. Also, while being part of the remix group “The Phattheads” has done exclusive remixes for artists such as: Justin Timberlake, Billy Ray Martin, Deborah Cox, B2K, & P-Diddy. Mondo’s “music video remix” of B2K’s hit single “Bump, Bump, Bump” continues to get air play on MTV2. Smooth has laid a steady foundation with his Drum & Bass productions of late. Between his work as one half of Telekinesis with releases on labels such as Blackout Music, Eatbrain, and Mainframe – along with his last release on Viper, ‘WTF / Revenge’ which wrapped up 2015 with monstrous noise and support from: Wilkinson, Matrix & Futurebound, Calyx & Teebee, TC, Audio, Metrik, Mob Tactics, and more. Starting of 2016, Smooth’s ‘True Grit EP’ brings plenty more dance floor destruction to continue the Slovenian’s mark in D&B. 

Leading the charge on the EP is ‘True Grit’. With occasional glimpses to the early days of rave, this track is nothing but forward thinking madness. You’ll need bags of energy to keep up with this one as ‘True Grit’ switches, changes and turns and every possible musical turn. Packed to the brim with attitude and balls this one’s not for the faint-hearted.

Next up is ‘Eraser’, which opens with a spacey atmospheric intro, only to get stripped back into a chunky underground banger. Going sparse on the riffs and heavy on the low end, ‘Eraser’ is a perfect draw for the early morning sets to get the crowd jumping. 

Switching gears, ‘Oxygen’ rolls deep with the melodies and high on that feel good liquid vibe. Subtly epic in its own right, ‘Oxygen’ gives us an early peak to the coming summer vibes. It has weight, presence, and the ability to make you tingle all over. 

Rounding off the EP is ‘Tinnitus’, a condition normally associated with the perception of noise or ringing in the eardrums. Smooth’s version is quite the opposite. After a brief intro, the full impact is laid out for all to bear witness, thundering drums and a huge bassline. A peak time dancefloor weapon has definitely been created here.

With the world's biggest Drum & Bass Festival approaching in July - Let It Roll Open Air 2016 - Viper Recordings are honoured to be hosting the Factory Stage for the Saturday of the three day event.

Viper artists: Smooth, InsideInfo, Mob Tactics, and Trei will all be representing the label at the festival, as well as on this special 'Viper Goes To Let It Roll' EP, featuring four brand new, previously unreleased tracks geared straight at the festival crowd.

Starting off the EP, Smooth has delivered the aptly titled 'Let It Roll'. A set-opener if there ever was one, with thunderous drums on the intro and a trademark Smooth build to a drop that will kickstart any rave, festival, or club night into high-gear. Up next, InsideInfo drops 'Up2U', a glitchy atmospheric track with InsideInfo's unmistakable sound. Mob Tactics turn up the energy again with 'Widowmaker', a head-nodding tech banger that takes no prisoners.. or spouses, as the case may be. Trei rounds off the EP with style on 'Mirage'. With a haunting cinematic intro, 'Mirage' quickly turns into a rolling banger to bring the EP to a close.

Legion & Logam, a trio who've cemented themselves as an international crossover act whilst pedestalling US drum & bass within the Ram roster. After the breakaway success of their first single on the Program imprint, 'House of Cards', as well as a host of fresh cuts of the Ram Records compilation series, they're returning with a single to cement themselves yet again within the genre's fabric. Having become a staple of festival stages globally, it's no surprise they've piqued such interest across the scene.

'To Be Alone' features Micah Freeman on vocals, making another appearance since 'Holding On' and adding his signature twist between carefully constructed layers of noise. Freeman's voice stretches to its furthest heights, dropping down musical crescendos and over kicking drum patterns. Snapping percussion washes over each train of sound with distorted guitar underpinning each segment. Piano notes filter through the mix, creating an emotional composition that pedestals the style Legion & Logam reign over.

Once again, it's time to get with the Program… One that celebrates diversity whilst distributing acts like Legion & Logam onto an unsuspecting audience since its inception.

Ladi6 and Parks traveled to America to work with Waajeed to record their new album at the renowned Studio A recording studio in Detroit, Michigan with grammy winning engineer Todd Fairall.  

"Shine On" is produced by Detroit's own Waajeed AKA Jeedo.  Jeedo needs little introduction to music fans, as his work over the years has spawned absolute classics starting with his first Platinum Pied Pipers album, Triple P. His work spans from Soul, Hip Hop to Electronic, working with the likes of Cee- Lo, J-Dilla, Mad Mike, and countless others.  

Automatic is the follow up to the 2010 released The Liberation Of..., which was certified Gold in NZ and spawned the Platinum-selling Top 10 single 'Like Water'.
