A dark portal appeared beyond the trees and lights that emanated from the Fairy Forest. We knew that there was more to Illich than met the eye, and that maybe our trust in this tall, dark stranger was misplaced. Before we knew it, the dissonant sounds and dark energy poured out from this void, overpowering the once peaceful Ramblewood grounds. It took the entire NASP community to come together and seal off this accursed gateway to the otherside. In the end, light and love prevailed. Brad could be heard shouting from front right, that the happy music had finally returned, and that all was right in world. For now, rest easy NASP, for now....

RAMZA - *NASP* Summer Camp - Renegade Dark Disco

The last few years have been exceptional in terms of challenge and personal growth. I had never considered myself an artist and clung so very close to the entrepreneur identity. After leaving my most recent startup in July of 2021, I have decided to fully embrace a new persona, as a music producer and DJ, continuing to learn the industry, helping start a label, and planning the next phase of my life. The past year had also been hard. Love, friendships, and business evolved with time, life, and circumstance. At the time, I experienced it as depression, weakness, and feeling lost and ungrounded. But today, I can look back at those experiences with an appreciation for the lessons they taught, no matter how bitter the pill was. I've been sitting on this mix for almost 5 months, never feeling that it was finished. It's heavy, melancholic, and beautiful. And I finally feel good again, excited about the next steps and my next projects. I finally feel ready to release and move forward. I hope you all enjoy.

🦥 🪩 The Tale of Sloth Disco 🪩 🦥 

In the heart of Ramblewood, under a moonlit canopy woven from starlight and enchanted flora, the Sloth Disco comes alive. The sound of the kick drums thump deeply, resonating through the forest, making leaves shiver and creatures stir. As the night progresses, the beats grow slower, heavier, each note infused with an intoxicating magic that leaves everyone entranced.

Unbeknownst to the revelers, this night was unlike any other. Deep within the labyrinth of CAMP's enchanted HR department, a cosmic breach had been orchestrated, allowing a mysterious troupe to gain access to the portal, bridging their mystical realm to our own.

As the night waned, RAMZA’s set reached its zenith. The air thickened with anticipation, and the music began to slow further, each beat echoing with an otherworldly resonance. The crowd, lost in the throbbing tones, failed to notice the gentle rustling from the shadows at the forest's edge. It started as a soft patter, almost imperceptible beneath the music, growing steadily louder.

And then, they appeared. Moving with languid grace, a group of sloths emerged from the darkness, their presence a slow, tantalizing revelation. Draped in glittering costumes, they began a mesmerizing dance, each motion a spellbinding allure that drew the crowd into their orbit. The atmosphere transformed, becoming a dreamy haze of sensuality and wonder.

In that moment, it was clear: what was disguised under the thumping bass, was the rattle of the encroaching sloth troupe, only allowed to gain access to the cosmic portal, through a breach of the HR department at this magical CAMP. Calling Peggy…. ring ring ✨📞

RAMZA had an impressive start to his career, starting in 2019 playing parties all throughout the Brooklyn underground scene.  Since then, he has found his way to the main stages at Elements Festival, Burning Man, and cities all across the US.

His blend of deep, dark, downtempo and melodic grooves alongside a careful techno influence is both timely and genuine. With many more bookings coming up for the year ahead, RAMZA is quickly solidifying himself as an artist to watch.
