I met a band of drifters on Firecracker Hill in Telluride, Colorado, during the town's annual bluegrass festival. We shared what little we had and listened as the mountains spoke to one another. This is my interpretation of their conversation.

The Broken Rubber Band was an original band from Baton Rouge, LA, that blended elements of rock, funk, and blues with a swampy soul. From 2010-2012, the core members were Cullen Davezac (vocals, guitar), Carson Ducote (bass, piano), Randall Head (lead guitar, trumpet), and Chad Byrd (drums).
