I grew up in a small town outside Cleveland, Ohio and ended up in Cincinnati for college in 2011. By spring semester of freshman year, I was recording terrible, atrociously grainy videos of me singing in my dorm room and posting them to YouTube, as well as performing at open mic nights and talent shows. After playing bass in Queen City bands Fycus and Slow Glows, and then forming local pop-punk trio Actual Italians, I decided to start a solo side project.
