The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Weever. “Loyauté” comes off the new various artists release which also launches the Rennes-based label VIVES. The name comes from a family of sea fish that bury themselves in the sand and have venomous spines which sting people who walk on them. Their stings often cause severe pain that spreads to the bones. This is an appropriate name for today’s track which is a slow burning, yet highly toxic mix of industrial, electro and more which quickly infects all systems. The release also features music from Clarence Park, Kronom and Distant. In addition, the label has collaborated with French artist Alexandre Viaud for the striking artwork which is also available as a poster.

From the grinding pulse of peaktime weapon ‘Vicious’ to the alien-meets-DAF ‘Invasion’ then ending on the cerebral vocal manipulations of ‘Red Blooded Night’. As one of techno’s main protagonists since the 90s, Fixmer continues to refine his style as a modern and focused sculpture of both rooted and next level electronic sounds.

The Scottish-born, Brighton-based producer lands on Berlin’s Dark Disco for a smash EP featuring three original tracks and three remix bombs. Taking inspiration from a wide array of genres such as post-punk, EBM, techno and traditional tribal music and dub, Sweat & Thunder delivers his sound in a fresh and unique way, oscillating between up tempo club ready tracks and menacing body burners. Today we premiere the title track which, as the name implies, takes you on a fast paced, alarming journey.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from SOJ. “Land of Lovers and Hammers” is the title track off the new album out this month on Brvtalist favorite Infidel Bodies. The SOIL Records head delivers a powerful record with a defined concept that spans multiple genres and sounds straight from the underground. SOJ always works within an industrial sound context, but his works can be based only on small details that finally lead us back to this countercultural environment and later feed into striking nuances that take a hold on the listener. “Land Of Lovers and Hammers” is the perfect example of his work - a rhythmic industrial groove which a slow burning mood that forces you into submission.

Accustomed to tribal and hypnotic rhythms, the Moroccan sorcerer Prophän is now venturing into new territories with "Blood, Fear & Injustice".

In this creation, noisy kicks, distorded vocals, wavy synths and doom basses pave the way to form an eclectic but coherent ensemble.

Produced in an environment which oppresses minorities who do not conform to the established standards, « Blood, Fear & Injustice » is as much a work of art as a militant act. Hence the different titles which all refers to the control of the people by the political and religious ruling class.

To conclude this EP, we thought that there was no better way than bringing the greek sound activist ANFS to the bill! The head of Vanila Records offers us his own vision of Prophän’s « Silent And Under The Boot » and we can say that the result is a real show of force, with its rhythm that continues to grow heavier all along and its palpable tension.
