'Assemblage' - a study of reconstructing analog formats in the digital realm. The track is composed of 36 individual 1/4" tape loops created on an Akai reel-to-reel. The video is animated from 1000 frames of 35mm film, shot using a Lomography 'Lomokino' camera. Physical editing was applied to both formats before digital reassembly. Sonic and visual artifacts have been preserved to highlight the process.

The Body & hate

Hailing from the coastal town of Chiba, Japan, Changsie has spent the last decade establishing herself as one of the most in-demand and trusted DJs in Tokyo. Following a youth immersed in hip-hop and R&B, a studied and timeless appreciation of dubstep and UK bass guides each Changsie set, possessing the ability to shift from meditative states to the rhythmic complexity of bleep techno and the ecstasy of acid-flecked house and techno.
