Drew on a lot of influence from my high-school/university days playing in post-hardcore/scremo bands for this remix (listened to a bunch of Chiodos and Finch in particular).  

Not so much in the actual composition per-say; but rather, wanting to try and capture a certain vibe; a very specific, visceral, emotional response.  

Basically that feeling of being in the pit at a show, soaked in sweat, pushed up against the barricade, head banging like a maniac.

Anyway, originally I had done this remix a few months back for a contest, but only having had a mere few days to complete it start-to-finish…well, let’s just say the end result was way less than satisfactory lol.  

So, rather than releasing a fairly terrible version, (and not wanting to simply scrap the track) I decided to overhaul the whole thing and take a bunch of time to get it sounding right.  

Thankfully, this was the right call.

You’re definitely gonna want to crank this one to 11 - It goes hard AF.  🤘🏻🥳
