Please meet Ricardo Vincenzo, your shaman from Sao Paolo for the next hour in the next Urban Cosmonaut Radio podcast #24.

But he’s not just a shaman - he’s also an avid collector of samples and an audio collage enthusiast with exquisite taste in forgotten old songs and Brazilian tropicalia infused music. In a melange of leftover samples, organic shamanic sounds and spiritual tunes, we are immersed in sounds and spheres unique to him. 

Having learned the piano as a kid, Ricardo had been making experimental music for a few years before starting his solo project, which he describes as having more dance floor friendly elements. His productions are inflenced by funk carioca music, which also produced as live sets with samples, repetitive phases and vocal percussions. 

Like a chef creating a culinary experience, we’re hungry to discover the sound scapes he has cooked for us and say: Bom apetite!

“Sacrifice does not suggest suffering nor punishment, but a source of personal growth." 
Beyond what we understand by the "Sacrifice" carried out by ancient civilizations connoted with death and blood before a deity, 
There is, in the act, an intention to offer part of our being to a feeling, or to be filled with faith, love and gratitude. 

After facing the departure of a loved one, I got the impulse to create this EP. 
"By leaving this physical plane, he has given us his wisdom, his purity and gifted us with his peace." 

Interpreting their existence in my life, I could understand that the Sacrifice also lived in me, in you, in my brothers, in my parents and in my everyday friends, observing gestures of love, surrender and compassion. 

This EP, divided in 4 songs, represents the different phases of sacrifice. It invites us to analyze our existence and give ourselves to life without fear of death. Being history for our imagination, the life and transcendence of a being tangled between its memories and ours to reach the spiritual plane. Feeling the lights and shadows of human life, between romantic voices, to the rhythm that beats to our heart, embracing forgiveness, feeling that you burn from the inside, that you are reborn, that you have the capacity to love again offering admiration and compassion.

“El sacrificio no es un valor que sugiere sufrimiento y castigo, sino una fuente de crecimiento personal”. 

Mas allá de lo que entendemos por el <<Sacrificio>> que realizaban antiguas civilizaciones connotado de muerte y sangre ante una deidad, existe, en el acto, una intención de ofrendar parte de nuestro ser a un sentimiento o ser cargado de fe, amor y agradecimiento. 
Luego de enfrentar la partida de un ser querido, obtuve el impulso para crear este EP. 
"Al dejar este plano físico, nos ha entregado su sabiduría, su pureza y nos obsequió su paz". 

Interpretando su existencia en mi vida, pude entender que el <<Sacrificio>> también habitaba en mi, en ti, en mis hermanos, en mis padres y en mis amigos día a día, observando gestos de amor, entrega y compasión. 

Este EP Divido en 4 canciones, representan distintas fases del sacrificio. Nos invita a analizar nuestra existencia y entregarnos a la vida sin miedo a la muerte. Siendo historia para nuestra imaginación, la vida y la trascendencia de un ser, entre sus memorias, y las nuestras hasta alcanzar el plano espiritual. Sintiendo las luces y las sombras de la vida humana, entre cantos románticos, al ritmo que late nuestro corazón, aceptando el perdón, sintiendo que te quemas por dentro, sintiendo que renaces, y sintiendo que nuevamente tienes capacidad de amar, ofrendando admiración y querer.

Although the vast majority of Native Americans have a tendency to appropriate the hymn, the hymn is believed to have originated from the Iroquois Nation of the Northeast. However, a researcher associated with Radio Canada discover in 2017 that the hymn had originated from the centre of the United States more specifically from the Arapaho tribes in Colorado and Wyoming.
The hymn is seldom considered to be a lullaby. It is sung on a plaintive tone, with dancers to the hymn ofter crying and thinking about their condition of dependence.
"Anikouni" is a traditional song covered by Rene Aubry on his 2010 album "REFUGES" released for HOPI MESA RECORDS. Deeply emotional and religious the song is simply a great piece of music. Funkenschleuder transforms Rene Aubry's version into a Downtempo/Electronica heaven with great World touches for your mind, body and soul pleasure.

Inspiration für seine Sets findet er vor allem auf Reisen. Nur eins darf nicht fehlen: ganz viel Glitzer.
