I'd been wanting to record a cover of my favorite pre-Dinosaurchestra Lemon Demon track for quite a while now. 

Lemon Demon has always been a giant influence on me and was honestly a big reason I started regularly making music. Neil Cicierega showed me that you could make awesome music (while also being a comedian, an actor, a filmmaker, an editor, a puppeteer, an animator, a programmer, a mashup artist, etc.) even if you were just a kid sitting in your bedroom, and it's something that's motivated and inspired me for years.

Lemon Demon songs are really fucking elaborate in their production, especially for being composed and mixed all by one guy, and I never appreciated that more than when trying to transcribe a 6 minute song cycle of his by ear. this mightve broken the record for the most individual patterns ive ever created in FL studio for a single song, clocking in at approximately 84; and it mightve also broken the record for the most mixer tracks ive used in one song, at 47.

soooooo, I attempted to take the stems of allstar and make them sound like take on me

I've been wanting to do another mashup related to Neil. I decided to try working with Who because the instrumental sounded good.
