Semionauta, the latest pseudonym of Giordano Fiacchini, is an artist, musician, and researcher in the field of multimedia arts. Over the last decade, he has explored multiple approaches to sound, from abstract experiments in Sound Design and Noise Music to real-time composition.

His artistic practice is multifaceted and aimed at providing intense sensory experiences. In addition to performing in clubs, festivals, and contemporary art museums in the United Kingdom and Italy, his work has landed on the rosters of international labels including ooh-Sounds, Different Circles, Nervous Horizon, and HIDE-Productions.

Together with Santa Cecilia they form the duo "Santa Cecilia & Semionauta" creating experiential works that, through music, light design, body, and technology, foster dreamlike spaces and parallel dimensions.

Interdisciplinary collaborations with artists from diverse fields fuel the direction of monumental durational performances, where each practice is explored both dramaturgically and symbolically.

In recent years, the duo’s research has centered on collective memory, revisiting ancient sounds, traditional instruments, and ancestral vocalities to explore the mythical realm of archetypal imagination, juxtaposing ancient memories with contemporary symbols of Mediterranean folklore.

Their debut EP "Tell Me To Sin" was released by Strange Therapy in 2024 and is followed up by “Trascendenze Artificiali: Act I” LP in 2025.
