On ‘Losing Track’ EP, Shanghai resident @laughingears demonstrates clear reverence for the loosely defined UK bass music that emerged following the formative years of dubstep. He explores the multiple possibilities in electronic music production, with a closer look at its IDM side, ranging from ambient to techno, electro, and acid.
His sets are hypnotic, dry and crystalline. His record selection is the weapon of choice for a journey through different styles and genres.
