Desmog is a Charleston based DJ whose style is centered around driving rhythmic elements and a raw, yet congruent energy. Drawing on influences ranging from hardgroove to hypnotic, and acid to industrial, he strives to create unity on the floor through a shared presence in the moment.

With a musical upbringing that wove together 60’s garage rock, Motown, and 2010’s electronica, he started digging from a young age. As an early teen, older cousins in Portugal sparked his affinity for high-impact dance music during summer trips to visit family. Over time, that spark evolved into a passion for techno in its most honest forms.

Desmog’s selections are eclectic yet cohesive. His approach balances instinct/intertia with detail/direction. With a deep reverence for the craft, and love for underground communities, Desmog aims to carve out space for a new sound in his city.

It is thanks to this support we go forward in 2024 opening it up to you all - the listeners, producers, and fans that grew it into the brand it is today.

 It is time for range. to not only journey through sound but also across the world to discover, support and humanize artists from all walks of life, with a common love for the deep, smooth, and melodic side of music that brings us together on the dance floor
