With his music under the alias Spin Fidelity, he makes electro and techno/house music very much with Detroit stylings and sound aesthetics. His own label Magnonic Signals showcases new and exciting producers as well as veterans always on vinyl format with soulful electronics. Glory Podcast #65 Spin Fidelity [Magnonic Signals]

Ranges continues to plug away with top-notch talent on its roster. Dubatech is the latest artist to present a full length release on the burgeoning label. Titled 'Presence',  this 10 track long-player is sure to create a buzz and garner favorable reviews throughout the hardcore dub community. In the past, Dubatech's has had key works on various labels like Baum and ODrex Music while he has also released on the highly regarded Silent Season and Shimmering Moods Records under his ambient alias Fatih Tuter. Dubatech's newest 'Presence', offers elite examples of premier dub techno that pushes the boundaries of expression in dub.

With a name like Dubatech, he has no problem living up to that name. 'Padding Dub' & 'Liquid in Trance' certainly do that and then some. Smooth washes of crisp chords at a brisk pace make for some ideal mixing moments in a house or techno set. Sublime works like 'Where Night Ends' & 'People' exude a classy Detroit touch that is as soulful as they are futuristic. The Carl Craig-esque Outro 'Lantern' certainly springs that comparison to mind while 'Subspace' is sure to please the deep-tech fans of the style. The album is extremely well-balanced offering just the right amount of tech and emotion for a rewarding listen. Ideal for late night drive or bringing some versatility to your dj sets.
We at Ranges are confident that if you haven't heard of Dubatech before that he will soon be one of your favorite's. If you have heard of him we aren't surprised if you have already ordered this as soon as the presale was announced. 'Presence' is sure to further push the Dubatech name to even more well-respected heights!

Over the last few years, Scottish label, Bulletdodge has gradually manoeuvred itself in the realms of electronica, indie dance and beyond. Their latest release, a new EP by Phelan Kane takes a turn towards shades of Electro.

Phelan Kane is a Berlin and London based music producer, engineer, artist, developer and educator. For over twenty years he has been active in both the music industry and the contemporary music education sector. His specialism is sound design and production techniques such as synthesis and sampling, alongside audio engineering, mixing, mastering, audio processing and plug-in development. His credits and clients include sources as diverse as Radiohead, Fad Gadget, Placebo, Moby, Ableton, Mute, The British Film Institute, Island, PIAS, Channel 4, Beggars Banquet, Boy George, Sony BMG, Universal, EMI and Warner Bros to name just a few! In 2001 Kane worked closely with pioneering synth artist, Fad Gadget a.k.a. Frank Tovey, playing an instrumental part in his support on Depeche Mode’s 2001 Exciter tour and as part of the Fad Gadget band, performing at Euro Rock and Wembley Arena.

Focusing on his solo work, he delivers four new tracks for Bulletdodge to form his ‘Interlacing EP’ which is backed by remixes from Werner Niedermeier, Inhmost, and Stockton And Malone.
