Nature Tales presents the first compilation produced for vibroacoustic sensory listening.

The tracks are designed to induce a vagus nerve stimulation when experienced on VibroAcoustics ViBoard, which can be found in “The Sensorium”, our ambassador and sensory room clinic in Denmark.
The compilation is composed by the musicians of Nature Tales & VibroAcoustics Records: Ishtadi, Ndless, Respira & ◯ (Holtoug).
It is also released through the NFT label, Hopium Records, with the aim of letting listeners value the release themselves.

Mountain of Dreams is an immersive safe and sound - journey, walking up the mountain, entering deep inside its great quietude.
Ascending from the ocean cresting foothills, climbing up the mountain face, it is an exploration of life that grows in the terrain, the forests and the wilderness of its massivity. The unmapped road leads the listener to a crystal peak of awoken dreams, before descending down, deep into hidden worlds and caverns of the subconsciousness.
The mountains trembling tectonic movements, expands and diminishes, like a breath, symbolising the slowest form of life - solidity, the basis of all carbon based life.

POOLcast 093 - PLO

Our August issue brings you another live improvised recording from our very own project PLO. For this recording ANN, Dr.Nojoke, Waldboot and The Artist Formerly Known as From Karaoke to Stardom came together with a whole truckload of music hardware.

Samplers, grooveboxes, keyboards, guitar pedals, synthesizers and more create a unique vibe at the PLO sessions right from the set up and sound check. The unpredictable combination of all the instruments, effects and ideas, which are completely recombined from session to session, create a breeding ground of creativity for the artists attending the session. With the goal of allowing as few mental filters as possible to come between artistic intuition and the piece. To create an environment in which the participating artists allow the purest form of art. It is therefore also unnecessary to use typical musical phrases to classify the resulting work. The consumption of such artworks should also be enjoyed with as little bias as possible.

The third of my three deep 4/4 mixes for EC in 2023 rounds off with a more Detroit feel to it than the previous two mixes. Dominated by the wonderful P0lyrhythm (artist) on Yore (label) with notable contributions from Delano Smith, Taupe and Gilbert.

It has been a pleasure to present this series of deep house/techno mixes, so thanks to Keith Anderson for giving me the freedom to present these sets. Next year (2024) I will return to EC with a monthly deep electro show, so lots of records to get through in the coming months.

Red Richards & Onetram - Decoded

With over 20 years experience in all things Techno in Melbourne, Australia, Ranjit Nijjer has truly carved out his own unique piece of the city’s landscape as a promoter, DJ and more recently as a producer. His event Technoir has become an institution in Melbourne; an important Techno destination over its life of over 19 years, showcasing home made talent from across the full spectrum of Techno.
Ranjit’s DJ sets are full of energy and a delicate intensity, as he expertly layers and weaves high volumes of tracks to create a truly distinctive dance floor experience for Techno fans both young and old.
Whether it is deep, hypnotic, ethereal rhythms or relentless, pounding harder sounds (often tinged with his special brand of funk), Ranjit gives the dancefloor and the listener his all.
This passion and care has seen Ranjit consistently booked around town for many years now, including several appearances at the acclaimed Rainbow Serpent Festival.
2020 saw Ranjit begin releasing his own music, with multiple EPs on Australian Techno imprint ‘Machine’ and very quickly he has found himself with tracks on labels around the world.
