I made this song by utilizing 3 tracks from my electric dulcimer, slow sparse melodies intertwined with sustained notes and a rich reverb from Valhalla's 80's Space Verb.  While "Awaiting the Key" incorporated some elements of blues -  it took a different direction than that genre by offering an ambient immersive atmosphere.
