Sunday morning, the most beautiful sunrise, after almost a whole week in the desert. It was been the coldest night so far, I remember setting up my gear, nervously hoping it wouldn’t let me down, when the sound-technician came up to me and said, "We might have a problem, there’s a storm coming!“. I turned around and saw a huge dark wall of sand reaching up to the sky, rolling into our direction.
I started playing anyways, and somehow the storm merged together with the lyrics of my songs, and changed their meaning. It had been the roughest condition I ever played in, and it really was a special one. Thank you for that experience!

The Chapel of Dancing Shadows is a space of contemplation, meditation, wonder. It is a communal space serving as art gallery, refuge, and sound bath. The 8-ft walls are covered in delicate drawings— the first 12 images of a developing 150-plate series of works composing Maria Kreyn’s Codex, an allusion to an invented creation myth. The ceiling is an elaborate CNC cut structure, creating the feeling of an arabesque lace canopy. From it hang detailed rafters and a collection of wind chimes, as an ode to the sounds in the temples of Myanmar.   

"As a child, I doodled. As an adult, the images have evolved into a complex universe in their own right-- a surreal, yet classically inspired world of fantasy, illusion, spatial bending, and mythology. The images are meanderings through the labyrinths of the subconscious. They gesture at a creation myth of an invented civilization, at the beauty and aesthetic of pattern making in the human mind--both visual and literary.  As this body of work evolves, the images find new outlets, new homes, new media to participate in. Making their debut as the walls of an immersive installation (The Chapel of Dancing Shadows), they are now available to enjoy in a smaller, more intimate print form, closer to their original size.”  -Maria

Philipp Drube is a Hamburg born DJ and label head, based in Berlin.

As an early rave enthusiast with a firm background in the scene, Philipp pulls inspiration from dance-floor experiences to create his own vision of DJing. After founding a successful event series in Hamburg, Philipp moved to Berlin to become an early part of the city’s Ismus collective. From there he developed his unique style as their resident.
His meticulous and hand-tailored sets focus on hard dance music: fast paced techno with strong elements of trance and hardcore. A blend which earns him regular appearances at Berlin’s most established venues such as Griessmühle, Säule/Berghain, About Blank, Tresor as well as ongoing international bookings. 

In 2019 he co-founded Space Trax, a label which further highlights his musical vision and includes releases from artists such as Inhalt der Nacht, Peryl or Dimensionhopper aka Schacke.

Second „Quarantine Pot-Cast“ is now online. 

After putting together 20 random tracks out of my Rekordbox in the first episode, i thought about something different for now. 

Due to i spent a lot of time with my vinyl collection lately the idea came up, trying to present a musical mix of past and present. 

I picked some old vinyl favorites from the late 90s / early 2000s and some actual promos/new tracks from „today“. So you find a wild 136 bpm mix of Dj Naughty,  The Hacker, Fjaak, Dj Hell, Tom Wax, Eric Sneo, Phase Fatale, Classmatic, Bauernfeind, Phuture Punk and others all together on that mix - different styles and different generations. Around 80 minutes between Electro/Breaks/Ebm-ish Techno and Rave madness. Listen to this loud and turn up.

Inez Akker inherited her love for Techno from her dad at a very early age. After being absolutely passionate about Electronic Music since she was 5, she started mixing tracks and creating her own DJ sets, inspired by very close friends who got her into the industry.
In a very short time, her style has got her to share line-ups with Dimi (AnD), Olivier Weiter, Cliff de Zoete, Alex Mart and Gabo Lora, among many others, in H7 Warehouse (Amsterdam), PIP and Het Magazijn (The Hague). She has also started her own Techno show at Beats2Dance radio.
She has a special taste for hard beat Dark Techno – a musical genre she uses to express her deepest feelings, thoughts and impulses. Under her motto "The world needs more Techno", her mixes are noticed by a strong drive that tells the story of each DJ Set.
Having embarked in an artistic journey that started right from her soul, she expects to have as many travel companions as possible, in whom she wishes to find alike minds and hearts who share the same passion for Electronic Music in all its forms.
