🔴 Episode #37 feels electrifying as it comes with a blessing from one of the Techno Godfathers. There are not many other Techno music heroes like DJ Rush for us! We totally agree with Daft Punk and their track “Teachers”, considering Rush a hallmark in the industry. Having his support really means the world to us (remember his “Let Me Here You” on Supporter Series Vol. 003?).
Now he also recorded an energetic DJ set exclusively for our podcast series, proving once more why his name is synonymous with the original and real Techno!

Warmly invited ALXDPO a live hardware only Techno Artist, to record a Live set for you all.

Artist Bio:
ALXDPO originates from a small town in the heart of Lower Saxony, where his journey into electronic music began at just 16 years old.

His first encounter with Techno ignited a deep fascination with the genre. What initially seemed like a series of repetitive sounds revealed itself to be a rich landscape of complexity and creativity. Captivated, he quickly shifted his focus entirely to crafting electronic beats.

However, simply DJing was never enough for ALXDPO. He yearned to not only play music, but to shape it, and so he began incorporating live elements into his sets. This creative evolution soon led him to perform live, blending his passion for production with the raw energy of improvisation.

In addition to his live performances, ALXDPO has produced tracks under several aliases for various labels, including Psychodevil Records, Hexagonal Music, and Ganzer Takt. His evolving sound over the years has transitioned from melodic house to hardtekk, eventually culminating in a pure techno style. Today, his music is characterized by its forceful yet playful nature, with a relentless, driving rhythm that energizes the dancefloor.

ALXDPO performs exclusively with his custom modular synthesizer system and other hardware synths. Tools that allows him to push the boundaries of live electronic performance. This approach not only defines his signature sound but also ensures every set is a unique, one-of-a-kind experience.

His innovative live shows have earned him recognition across Germany, with performances in iconic venues and clubs in cities like Braunschweig, Berlin, Magdeburg, Rostock, and Leipzig, where he continues to captivate techno fans with his dynamic, spontaneous energy.

Suicide Circus Podcast 48 : DJ RUSH | 10 YEARS SUICIDE CIRCUS SPECIAL

DJ Rush ist eine Institution. Mit seinem unverwechselbarem Style mischt er nun schon seid Anfang der Neunziger weltweit die Clubs auf.

Auch den Suicide Circus in Berlin kann man als Institution bezeichnen. In diesem Jahr, genauer dieses Wochenende feiern wir unser 10 jähriges Bestehen auf dem RAW Gelände! 
Aber im Grunde stimmt die Jahreszahl „10“ nicht so ganz, denn die bewegte Vergangenheit des Clubs in den 90er Jahren bleibt bei der Rechnung außen vor.

Der SUICIDE CLUB eröffnete nämlich bereits im jungfräulichen Technozeitalter, konkret 1994 und in der Dircksenstrasse. Damals mit regelmässigen Auftritten von unter anderem: DJ Hell, Rok, Jonzon, Ellen Allien, Steve Bug, Electric Indigo, Clé, Tanith, Wolle XDP und eben DJ Rush.

Zu unserem Jubiläum beehrt uns Dj Rush mit zwei Überraschungen: zum Einen mit diesem exklusiven Mix in bekannter Rush Manier. Und zum Zweiten mit einem speziellen House Set, welches er Freitag Nacht in unserem Open Air Garten zum Besten geben wird. (mehr info siehe unten)
