Description : Desire, productrice et DJ tran(s)ce, s'installe depuis peu dans le paysage des artistes à suivre de près. Suite à une première sortie sur There Is Love In You, son nouvel EP témoigne de l’énergie solaire qui lui est propre et présente son univers qui convoque des sonorités old school en leur apportant le twist de la modernité. Entre influences acid, trance prog, synth wave, electro, et beaucoup d’autres encore, les 5 tracks de cet EP distillent une musique aussi riche que généreuse.
Rare sont les artistes qui arrivent à faire passer un message à travers leur musique, et Desire est l’un.e d’entre elleux. Il y a en effet quelque chose qui tient presque de l’empowerment dans cette énergie touchante et puissante qui se dégage de l’EP.
Chaque morceau nous emmène dans une balade extatique qui mélange envolées mélancoliques, beats taillés pour le dancefloor et lignes acides stroboscopiques.
Les 5 tracks sont accompagnées de deux remixes par les talentueuses productrices Azo (résidente chez Kiosk Radio et repérée comme artiste émergente à suivre par Beatport) et MZA (Maison Close / Taapion).

Up next, as part of Rigson's self-released series, is a 7-minute trance epic written in early 2023 – designed specifically for the summer's sunset closings.

Remixes come courtesy of a host of leading progressive trance producers; Rambal Cochet / Volta Cab's interpretation takes us on a deeper and darker journey, whilst sought-after Aussie prog duo of the moment In2stellar apply their driving signature club sound. Rising Serbian producer Cosmic G builds on the emotion of the original and delivers a wonkier sun-kissed trip.

After releasing a devastating first opus which seduced many international dancefloors, Laroze presents the second volume of his 'Natural Stupidity' series. This self-produced EP of 5 trance, progressive house and down-tempo tracks with tribal accents and exotic influences is the perfect weapon to end this amazing festival season.

A club anthem with tribal accents, 'Pure Water' draws its sounds from the Philippines and mixes them with the ingredients specific to progressive house in its most effective form. We thus find sampled tracks reminiscent of the dense forests bordering the Pacific like the flute or the voices of distant ethnic groups, but also 90's synthesizers such as the Korg M1, or the DX7. The whole thing forms a devastating and dangerous track for every clubber who crosses its path. 

Laroze, a French producer working since 2014 under this pseudonym and initially known for his house/disco-tinged debut, makes no secret of it: “This EP is inspired by the trips I have been able to make over the last 10 years. Whether in the forests of Costa Rica, in the lagoons of Mauritius, the temples from Thailand, or in the archipelagos of Linapacan in the Philippines, nature inspires me. This EP is a kind of bridge between my two passions: beautiful landscapes and club music.

Already playlisted by many artists during the summer, “Natural Stupidity Vol.2” will be only digitally available on Friday 17th September, but you can already pre-order the whole package on Bandcamp.

PREMIERE: Laroze - Pure Water

Fides Records continues its 10-year anniversary with the second chapter X2 following the monumental 10Y OF FIDES: Mixed by Z.I.P.P.O. True to the label’s decade-long pursuit of underground sound and vision, this new instalment deepens the narrative with six striking contributions that embody the raw, hypnotic, and modular essence of the Fides universe.
The A-side opens with Setaoc Mass’s “Quanta” a stripped down, mental techno piece driven by tension and precision. Seddig follows with “Seismic” an intense, driving composition marked by rugged modular energy and deep rhythmic focus, while Casual Treatment’s “Hoover” injects elasticity and bounce through detailed sound design rooted in French minimalism.
Flipping to Side B, Holden Federico’s “Tactics” timeless track based on a 909 framework and a melodic core that balances power and elegance. Augusto Taito’s “No Eye Contact” unfolds as an immersive, restrained groove while Asymptote’s “Encounters” closes the record with cinematic precision, a contemplative yet physical finale true to the Fides aesthetic.

The Berlin based duo drops some heavy bass lines with storyline synths on the A1 Floppy, taking you to a time when you were high on the dance floor; your eyes closed, the lights still shining through your lids. The bells ring in angelic exasty rounding off the title track to be a sure instant classic named after their party series Floppy Drive. The EP embodies 90’s dance culture. Marlon Hoffstadt pumps up the drive and adds the depth that only a seasoned raver could reference, making you feel like a Sonic the hedgehog speed walk.
