Canadian born DJ/Poet/Rapper/Songwriter first launched her career at 13 as an Artist in Ghana, by throwing beach parties in Krokrobite, and performing at clubs and house parties. Known for her visual words and depthening sound, she draws stories in your mind and feelings in your heart. Kavela has performed at Ghanaian artist Samini’s nightclub Dancestadom in Ghana and in Toronto at Evergreen BrickWorks Winter Fridays, CBC Music Festival 2019, York Pride, Ghana Fest, Canadian Music Week: I Love Afrobeats in Lula Lounge, Jack Astor’s and The Spin Show on UN!TY FM. She has also performed at No Swear Bar in Barcelona, Spain. Now residing in Portugal, she has performed at Kwaito inside Sarcastic Porto, Nubai Soundsystem’s Pool Party at Lapoint in Ericeira, Ordinário Lisboa, Skankin’ Sweet in Bar Mau Maria, Ferro Bar, Plano B, Sarcastic Porto, and at Barracuda Clube de Roque in Porto.
