Corey Wise on Rapzilla.com LIVE with Chris Chicago - Ep. 127

    My life has always been entwined with Music.  My mother is an Amazing singer (who is actually in a band right now! ), and I grew up listening to her sing.  My Father used to play the guitar and write poetry.  I grew up listening to a lot of Jazz and Gospel...that my Minister father would BLAST on the weekends when he was off of work.  
    It probably wouldn't surprise you to hear that I was recorded on tape (lol) singing and talking into a microphone when I was only 2!  I wish that I still had that recording.  :-)  This instilled, at a very early age, the fire to perform that has been stoked in me ever since.  Now I LIVE Music.
    I sang all through school, and got every Solo part that I tried out for.  I sang 1st Soprano when I was a boy, hitting and holding notes that most girls had a hard time with.  I find it almost ironic that now my voice is so low and raspy.  :-)  
    Band was next.  With, as I was told, an almost perfect "pitch ear", I could reproduce notes easily.  I, however, quickly grew bored of not being able to be in the spotlight on stage...moving and shaking.  I went back to singing.  Eventually, my love of the English language that had been spawned by my father, took me on a journey of writing.  This brings me to today.  
     I am now an Actor, Singer (not great anymore lol), Songwriter, Poet, and HIp-Hop artist.  I work for one of the Largest PV (Solar) Companies in Hawaii to pay the bills right now, but I LONG for the day when I can fully immerse myself in ART again.  I also do some Personal Training on the side, mostly to help people to achieve their goals.  Currently, I am working on my new Website (EpitomeART.com), which will showcase not just my journey, but also the journeys of some of my friends and associates that have devoted their lives to ART, in one facet or another, as well. 
    What's NEXT..........??  I will be signed to an Entertainment Company  (Music/Acting)   "Whoever finds me is going to get a Finders Fee that's out this world... Ain't noone out their mind as me!!..."  ~Eminem                      ;-)  1 <3   <EMC>
