Minister Cyght (b.k.a.) MC TakeFlyht was born in Indiana but raised in North Las Vegas by his single mother Tarmeaka "Sweet" Jones in the ammunition of the Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ. Shortly after being baptized around the age of 7, he became prodigal and due to fatherlessness, anger & peer pressure he became a gangbanger called Cyc short for psycho. Blessed with an artistic & poetic gift he loved music which lead to winning local talent shows, hood rap offs & he staid into lyrical battles. After being hit by an undercover off duty North Las Vegas police officer in a unmarked Ford Bronco, he experienced a vision of hell. Pleading & screaming to God to give him another chance, he immediately awoke with a broken hip & leg, which confound him to a wheelchair for a year plus & the Lord open his eyes & told him to change his name from Cyc "psych" to Cyght "sight", because he was blind, but now he could see which brought about the name of the 1st LP Blind, But Now Fine. His focus shifted from the penitentiary & the grave, to Jesus Christ on a mission to save!!! Itz all about those 3M'z - (Missionary, Ministry, Music) PRAYDUP MUSIC "music that saves" 👌🏿 BLESS'D!!!

Briefly, a young man lost his parents to find a hobby in poetry.After all seemed to had failed. I Recorded my first track on a karoke box during 96 or 97 . Afterwards, I moved to the Midwest to meet a cali native to join in a label by the name of welkonnected records,round 99-2000. Moved back to the south . Now I'm passing out cd's of whatever music we'd recorded . Only to move back to the west in 03' with the opportunity to open up for Tech9 in OKC @ a club then called the Diamond Ballroom. Many years have pasted since . Although, I'm a prime believer in the phrase . YOU GOTTA GO THROUGH SOMETHING, TO GET SOMEWHERE". Almost 42 years aging . I'm still destined to reach my destination. Leaving my mark in every listeners ,heart ,mind,body & soul . Determined to give the next generation something to thrive towards being the change for hip-hop. Due to a long & scrutinized legacy.  That's changed the lives of many for the better & worst.
