 	Born and raised in Mobile, AL and brought up at Life Church, Mardye-Mar (aka Mardye McDole) began passionately pursuing a relationship with God and also pursuing  his rap career in August 2011 when he first remixed "Lead Me to the Cross" for his youth worship leader. Mardye immediately began to feel God tugging at his heart to continue rapping and to delve deeper into His presence.
	Growing up, Mardye always considered himself a shy person and one who never had much to say. He always pushed himself to go against the grain and stand out, but he soon realized that he was trying to go his own direction rather than allowing God to lead him. Mardye saw and understood that God was urging him to surrender his own way and trust His will instead.
	Mardye stepped out in faith and formed the group ClayDough Misfits in 2012. The group performed at Life Church and CenterPointe.  In 2013 Mardye began really working on his own music, as well as accepting the opportunity to be featured on other artists' tracks. Through all of this God birthed the idea for his first solo project "Release" the mixtape--released February 2014. Mardye found inspiration for this mixtape thru his past and present circumstances, including cutting off his dreadlocks after 2 solid years and getting engaged. 
	Mardye's style is one of a kind encompassing fast-paced flow, well thought out wordplay, and always emphasizing his primary message-the gospel of Jesus Christ. He seizes the opportunity to try things differently on the mic and isn't afraid to call to light issues that need to be addressed for the young people of today. Mardye holds fast to his belief that God will not allow His Word to return void. His one aim is to glorify God by doing what he loves--leading others in worship and teaching them about Jesus through rap.
	In early 2014 Mardye officially signed with Kingdom Krunk Records and is amped about the continual opportunities that God has been opening up for himself and Kingdom Krunk Music Group to minister to people. They are looking forward to the future, and Mardye is expecting great things to come from the Lord and gives Him alone all the glory.
