This song was inspired by the 1983 hit titled "Sunday's on the Way" by the Christian Italian Stallion, himself, Carman. My rendition of the song was a project that I took on for my good friends at Crossroads Church in Lafayette LA. They will be using this custom song for their upcoming Easter production. It was definitely a challenge, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Just so you know, this particular track is an EXTREMELY rough mix, missing tons of vocal parts & overdubs, having no vocal effects, no compression, and still needing quite a few tweaks here and there. I did, however, promise a sneak peek, so here it is. I only ask that if you take the time to listen to it, also take the time to leave a comment with your honest thoughts! Hope you enjoy!

The song leads with an audio excerpt of the legendary rapper Game talking about how he can be a Christian and live in contrast to the very Christ of Christianity, in regards to his next album entitled 'Jesus Piece'. "It Is Written" ultimately addresses the issue and the distorted picture of Christ that Game, Meek Mill, Rick Ross and Kanye West are painting to their listeners.
