Ras S.O.S es un DJ, productor y percusionista nacido en Almería, sus comienzos como dj y selector musical fueron en 2006 a la vez que trabajaba en la radio de técnico de sonido. En 2007 entra a formar parte del colectivo Bypod Collective y junto a dos amigos forman Vibrasound, un sound centrado en el reggae, actuando por gran parte de la península en la actualidad. De 2008 a 2010 se muda a Granada donde hace sonar sus discos en salas conocidas como El Tren, Boogaclub, Afrodisia, Planta Baja, Quilombo, Entresuelo, etc. 
Ha actuado en festivales internacionales como Womad Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2021, Maspalomas Soul Festival 2018, Rototom Sunsplash 2016, Womad Fuerteventura 2016 y nacionales como Espantapitas, Terror Bass Planet y 5º Marbella Reggae Festival, entre otros. 
Ha compartido escenario con artistas como Burning Spectacular (Jamaica), General Levy (UK), Flavia Coelho (BR), Radikal Guru (POL), OBF (FR), Mungos HiFi (UK), Dawa HiFi (FR), Top Cat (UK), Tenor Fly (UK), Blackout Ja (Jamaica), Congo Natty aka Rebel Mc (UK), Benny Page (UK), Nanci & Phoebe (UK), Shy FX (UK), Dj Cal Jader (UK), Shirley Davies & The SilverBacks, Benjammin (UK), Sr Wilson, Lasai, y muchos más.
Creador de numerosos remixes y mashups, en 2013 fue premiado con el segundo y tercer puesto a la mejor mixtape del año por los lectores de la plataforma Reggae.es con dos de sus sesiones grabadas. 
Su especialidad es el reggae pero es un enamorado de la música negra en general y le encantan otras músicas de diferentes rincones del planeta. El groove es su esencia y en sus sesiones podemos escuchar desde reggae, soul, funk, disco, afro, latin, brasileña, jazz, neo-soul, break funk, nu-disco, electro swing, nu-jazz, world electronic music, house, deep house y chill entre otros. 
Tiene un proyecto a dúo con la cantante canaria Miriam Fleitas llamado Symbeat.

Ras S.O.S is the aka for Sergio Oliván. Born in Almería where he takes his first steps as dj and music selector around 2006 while working as sound technician in a radio station. In 2007 he joins the Bypod Collective and cofunds Vibrasound with two friends, a sound focus on reggae that is at the moment visiting most parts of Spain.  In 2008 he moves to Granada where he makes his discs sound in well known clubs like El Tren, Boogaclub, Afrodisia, Planta Baja, Quilombo,… etc. He has performed in international festivals like Womad Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2021, Maspalomas Costa Canaria Soul Festival, Rototom Sunsplash, Womad Fuerteventura, and other nationals like Espantapitas, Terror Bass Planet y 5º Marbella Reggae Festival. Creator of several remixes and mashups, in 2013 he got second and third place for two recorded sessions as best mixtape of the year chosen by the readers of Reggae.es platform. Reggae is his specialty but he loves black music in general and during his sessions he can go reggae, soul, funk, disco, afro, latin, brazil, jazz, neo-soul, break funk, nu-disco, electro swing, nu-jazz, world electronic music, house, deep house and chill among others.
