I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last posted on here! Well that’s going to change as I’ve got a whole load of unreleased tracks I found in my vaults that I will be posting over the next few months - including some S’Express stuff.

First up is this S’Express & T-Total track featuring international superstar Lady Bunny - Sneakin’. We did this a while back and it features Lady Bunny on top form telling the tale of a typical night in her life. 

Previously only heard as the soundtrack of a Vivienne Westwood video campaign. Loungy and laid back - a perfect cruising and seduction track. Enjoy!

Due to the trials and tribulations of another year in the front row of the shit show…it was with warmth and welcoming pleasure to hear from my good sister “The Lioness” Nina Walsh…You see almost a year had passed since we broadcast the beautiful ambience of Day & Night......A treasure that sparkled from deep inside the vaults of Facility 4……its physical and digital release was set to breathe life amongst us only for some major setbacks at facility 5 ....but with flames extinguished and vibrations feeling much more positive my good sister Nina thought it was time to celebrate its release at 11:11pm on Hogmanay ....with a little push via my Sonic Treasure Show.
After a quick chat and ideas a plenty we both agreed that it would be nice to mix some little subtleties to the original….” Adding a little pulse” Dave Harrow did just that to beautiful effect- only the way he knows best on both Day and Night….…..The magic was happening.
The Day Drone mix as Dave titled it was then sent to Rebecca & Nick both of Stash Magnetic……who completely shook the cosmos with it...I literally mean that..….All that was left was for me to get it over the line and aired via the good folk at Radio magnetic from 2021 into 2022….
So, what you have here is the full show as broadcast on 31st Dec Hogmanay 2021….There's a little intro and a special treat in the middle to bridge the mixes along with a sweet late-night mix from John Camabuca Valavanis

The first time we saw Jasper James in Amsterdam many moons ago, he was playing Shelter alongside the likes of Denis Sulta and Tsepo. Having had his Rinse.fm mixes on regular repeat as well as his BBC Radio 1 Essential mix, we later asked the Scottish DJ and producer, closely associated with Sub Club and Rubadub, to make an instalment for our own mix series. He kindly agreed and spent some time going through different iterations and ideas for the mix, before delivering the shimmering result presented below.

In the interim, Jasper kept busy and launched his own label – Mitchell Street Records – on which he released his first dance-floor ready release Crypto / These Are the Beats last month, described by Mixmag as an inaugural release fit for a late night jam, and organised parties in Glasgow inviting the likes of Prosumer, Elias Mazian and Tom Trago. He started and finished his Phonox residency, and lined up a string of releases set to see the light on Mitchell Street next year – including a record by Elias, as well as his father Harri and The Revenge, on which we all touch in the interview below.

Needless to say, from the moment we first started speaking to the day of the publication of his mix, a lot happened. Truancy Volume 231 is Jasper James’ first studio mix in quite some time, presenting what Jasper would play out on dance floors today, pacing the mix over an hour and ending on a high – leaving room for more to come. His mix features forthcoming music from his own label, and new and old tracks by the likes of Phil Moffa, Valentino Mora and Inner City queen Paris Grey, and the time and care put in this mix is apparent from the moment you press play.
