His mother's record store, Disco Land, was the hub of the community, where legends like Dean Fraser, Mighty Diamond, and Gregory Isaacs would gather to share their music and their message. His father's traveling sound system was the soundtrack to his childhood, instilling in him the power of music to unite and uplift.

With a fierce determination that echoes the spirit of Bob Marley, King General built his first sound system with a loan from his mother, and RasGeneral Sound was born. From the streets of Jamaica to the clubs of New York, his music is a call to action, a rallying cry for anyone who's ever felt marginalized, oppressed, or silenced.

Today, RasGeneral Sound is a global movement, inspiring kids from the inner cities to the suburbs, from the ghettos to the mansions. Upcoming star Karbon is a recording artist born in Kingston, Jamaica. 
Raised with a humble background in the Broadleaf community in the parish of Manchester, from when he was a youth Karbon’s love for Reggae and Dancehall has never wavered.
He wrote his first song as a teenager; this encouraged him to start entering talent shows, musical competitions, and performing at shows.  
People first met the singer in 2019 when he came through with the tune “Highgrade Maka”, a hypnotic ganja tune and real marijuana anthem. The track was recorded, mixed, and release under 12yaadrecords. 
In 2022 Karbon released the single “Fully Awake” with the Italian international label More love Music and also recently released another track titled kings town with the same Label and is slated to release another track by the Local label known as Spot on records and Element music group this one is known as Journey so keep on the lookout for many more to come forward...🙏🏿
