Homework Sessions

Gauthier Romanelli started playing electronic music when he met EinKa (Goldmin Music founder) who taught him how to mix vinyl records. During the following years, he developed his own way of mixing, inspired by his idols like Ricardo Villalobos, Traumer, [A:RPIA:R] and many others.

His DJ sets revolve around different styles (minimal / deep tech house / dub techno) which he likes to mix to create eclectic stories.

Recently, he decided to launch his own project @evausmusic to share his vision of music and highlight talented artists.

Rick Koen, his latest pseudonym, describes his music as dark, chilled and gothic, inspired by artists such as Minimal Groove, Tommy Deep and Deep Sentiments.

Releasing records under the name MfanO Da_R-Deep on labels such as AfroMove Records, Just Move Records and Rearl Ltd Records since 2017, began his career at just 13 years old. And at the age of 15 he was co-founder of the South African house label deephousecyphers.
