"Les cieux s'étaient embrasés, une lueur rougeoyante enveloppait la Terre comme une funeste étreinte. Les étoiles vacillaient dans un dernier ballet céleste, leur lumière mourante éteinte par l'ombre grandissante. Sur la surface de la planète, les océans rugissaient en une symphonie de vagues déchaînées, engloutissant peu à peu les côtes jadis prospères.

Les villes jetaient leurs dernières lueurs avant de sombrer dans les ténèbres éternelles. Les gratte-ciels, autrefois symboles de la grandeur humaine, se dressaient comme des carcasses géantes dans un paysage apocalyptique. Des nuages toxiques dansaient dans l'air, emportant avec eux les vestiges de la civilisation.

Le crépuscule de l'humanité approchait, orchestré par une force mystérieuse venue des confins de l'espace. Des éclairs d'énergie déchiraient le firmament, créant des failles dans la réalité elle-même. Les continents tremblaient, se fissurant sous l'effet de forces invisibles.

Les derniers survivants erraient dans des terres dévastées, cherchant désespérément un abri qui n'existait plus. La nature, libérée de sa prison de béton et d'acier, reprenait possession du monde. Des plantes mutantes s'épanouissaient là où les rues avaient été tracées, déformant la réalité jusqu'à l'absurde.

Au loin, une ombre massive émergeait des ténèbres cosmiques, une entité indicible dévorant tout sur son passage. C'était le crépuscule final, la fin de toute chose connue. Les échos des lamentations humaines se mêlaient aux cris des éléments déchaînés dans une symphonie funèbre.

Et puis, dans un ultime soupir, la Terre cessa d'exister. La réalité elle-même s'effaça, laissant derrière elle un vide abyssal. Le cosmos reprenait son calme, comme si la Terre n'avait jamais été qu'un simple rêve dans l'infini univers."

Weapon was born in the polders of Holland and is currently based in Rotterdam. She uses various machines and systems to design and engineer atonal rhythms. She is interested in the ways that sound can be immersive, and the club as a place of sonic fiction. Throughout her rigorous art studies that involved visual arts, game development, sound design and electronic engineering, Weapon has been primarily concerned with the stuff that experience is made of, and how it can be put to use to make sliding through time and space a more feasible experience, while remaining fully aware that the theater of life does not take place in a political vacuum.

// Ambient, atmospheric music is a genre of music that puts an emphasis on tone and atmosphere over traditional musical structure or rhythm. A form of slow instrumental music, it uses repetitive, but gentle, soothing sound patterns that can be described as “sonic wallpaper” to complement or alter one’s space and to generate a sense of calmness. after their highly acclaimed debut album »decadent yet depraved«, berlin and LA-based producers belief defect invited a variety of artists to join their »remixed« project. the following 12” EP is a first four-track release of this project.

the original tracks of the album are only an approximate starting point for »remixed«. in contrast to »decadent yet depraved«, largely conceived in song structures, this EP is about transferring the pieces back into abstract space, and each remixer does it in his very own way. alessandro cortini’s one-take live recording is a lesson in classical ambient music. telefon tel aviv’s remix is timelessly modern and extremely delicate sound design. rather opposite concepts are coming from surachai’s brutal pattern design and kangding ray’s expressive and analogously saturated repetitions for the dance floor.

»remixed 01« will be released on february 08, 2019 on vinyl and digitally, further releases will follow. as with »decadent yet depraved«, the cover photo was created by sarah sitken.

After an annum of repose, London-based and industrial-clique-doted Depth.Request offers to consideration what's promised to be the first volume in a series titled ''Hostile Responses & Provocations''. 
Boasting an international lineup, this post-punk, EBM-leaning VA release revolves predominantly at a pace of 135 BPM and features occasional outbursts of indiscernibly distorted lyrics throughout its six rough-hewed, distinctly industrial cuts.
As Last Days of S.e.x.'s-fathered and Espectra Negra-featured Phallic Mother starts off, one could be forgiven for thinking that a record with sirens of the apocalypse have been put under the needle of God's antique doomsday gramophone; breathing room is nowhere be found on this anarchic monstrosity on an aural beatdown where screeching and screaming combat to outperform the relentless drumline in gain.

A 2017 archive - 3 years later comes the time to share VOIESX, a 52 pages fanzine initiated by Victoria Renaud with the collaboration of Antoine Melquiond. 

The zine is compiling work from 23 artists, folks and freaky geniuses, part of the venue community and members of the Champ Libre artistic team.

Compilation of 15 tracks, including exclusively material from artists who performed at the infamous Champ Libre venue "24 rue Davoust".

Two distinct artworks covers are available (Randomly attributed).
