Gotta make a livin’ man, gotta make a livin’— how the hell is it so goddamn hard for one to make a livin’? To be an artist. To live and breathe one’s craft, yet put food on the table and a roof overhead. Fightin’ for freedom, but freedom’s cost’s been feelin’ high. Freedom’s coat is tattered and heavy. Can we still march on?  

This is an album for my country; a torn home I’m unwillin’ to give up on. 
A country that often confuses me; yet still, I stand beside.
