Interface is for interaction. But for this episode, Skalm (@dans-market) has made a different kind of interaction and invited Utrecht-based Luke Cohlen (@lukecohlen) to create his version of interface. Moved by his multiform yet consistent sound as well as his experimental record label – aural conduct – she found connection through their shared philosophies of interfacing between contrasts, or as Luke aptly describes “music evoking dualities.” Tune in for an hour of concentrated exploration.

After last year's tenuous offering "Another Fall," Craig Tattersall (A Humble Bee) returns with a new collaborator in tow, Erik Williamson. Together the duo unveil a body of collaborative work titled 'remnants', showcasing a near hour-long offering of unfaltering melancholy, with each piece engulfing the listener in an abyss of tape-laden hiss, while drifting ever so slightly into aimless reverie.

We welcome back Coline Cornelis to Brasserie Atlas for a new "Les Choses", focusing on flower anthesis.  Anthesis refers to the flowering period of a plant. The first part of this set is about blossoming, light and colour. It evokes the elements of a flower, the petals, the pistil and the pollen. The second part looks at fertilisation – the spores that disperse to fuse and recalls the beauty of chance, connections and similarities. The iris of an eye is reminiscent of the universe, just as a picture of pollen under a microscope is reminiscent of lichen. The third part deals with harmony and the state of symbiosis which is the principle of lichen formation, that can be found among things and beings.

I originally made this mix for HÖR on October 6th in Berlin. I decided to take it down from the platform. The radiostation has been neglecting in responding to the abuse with which employees at the station met DJs, who stand up against violence against Palestinians and who powerfully express themselves by wearing slogans that support the right to self-determination of the occupied people. Asking DJs to interrupt their set for these reasons is unacceptable, as it undermines freedom of expression and resistance to apartheid. After multiple attempts to get a response to- and clarifications about the radio's position, I asked the organisation to take down my set.

I decided to post the set here, because the music featured is close to my heart. This mix contains beautiful tracks by people who push me forward, make life tangible, meaningful, and enjoyable.

Let's say no to radio silence. Let's push forward demands for Palestinian liberation.
