After the release of Sunrise Marko Drexler is following up with his three-track EP Illusion featuring groovy drums, dark percussive elements and arpeggiated melodies. During the production he has been combining influences from different electronic genres such as tech house, classic trance, and progressive house and gave it his own twist. 
The first track, Illusion, starts off with a groovy bass-line and eventually evolves into a trance infused breakdown part leading right back into the main part.
Blue Ocean features a mesmerising main melody accentuated by lush pads and sonar-like sounds, while Rift is a minimalistic track with shuffling hi-hats alongside melodic parts and a plethora of percussion.
