In the early hours of Friday morning, from 7 to 9 am, I had the honour of gracing the stage of this iconic festival – a place that holds a special place in my heart since my first visit in 2001. Fusion has always been the epitome of what a festival should be, and being invited to play on the main stage was a dream coming true.

For this sunrise set, I didn't go straight for the heavy bangers. Instead, I carefully curated a selection of tracks that were meant to ignite that special colourful energy as the festival prepared to take it´s morning rest soon. This set is a mix of vinyl gems, with a few digital exclusives sprinkled in. This warmth and authenticity of vinyl mixing, especially that magical low end quality, on a sound system like Lambda Labs, takes precedence over the perfectly polished digital mixes.

I really hope you have a great time with this set, just like I did when I played it. Unfortunately, we hit some technical snags at the beginning, so that part got cut off...

After a decade devoted to djing, in 2009 Stojche shifted to producing and has since released records on labels like A.r.t.less, DMK, Conform, Subwax and Argumento Music, which he has co-founded. In 2011 he launched his solo imprint “Tangible Assets”. An outlet that has given him the freedom to explore and refine his trademark Detroit-influenced dubbed out productions. Enjoy!

Inox Traxx is a name that has been growing over the past few years, with fast-paced hypnotic and unique sounding. Her debut vinyl EP “II” on Overbalance, released in 2019, as well as the highly rated House of Wax EP on Ben Sims’ imprint Symbolism in 2021 introduced her to a wide array of the scene.

Fast forward to 2023: Two EPs on Ben Sims’ labels (Hardgroove and Symbolism) further, as well as regular apperances at Berghain have cemented Inox Traxx’ position as one to watch in the years to come. 

Her productions can be best characterized with a simple quote, courtesy of Hard Wax: “Flawless, highly effective, pure Techno”. As a DJ she is creating an atmosphere which fluctuates between the obscure, the unobvious and no-nonsense techno bliss. Arpeggiated, syncopated melodies are in a constant interplay with dense basslines. Up until one element flows into the next seamlessly.

The monthly show hosted by @katharina-davids is returning with guest @Sessionrestore
After being introduced to his first techno parties in the Brandenburg area end of the 90s, it became immediately clear to Session Restore that he would start DJing. In his sets, he enjoys blending timeless classics with new tracks, skillfully guiding his audience. Upon relocating to his current home in Hanover, he performed in various clubs, began organizing events in the 2000s with artists like the Zenker Brothers, DJ Deep, Ed Davenport, Vril, Heiko Laux, Jeroen Search, and many others. He is an active producer with over a dozen releases on vinyl labels such as Separate Skills, Resort Im- print, and his own label “rauh.' .” With his labels mixes and events he hosted artists like Rødhåd, Vince Watson, Mareena, Akua, and many more.

Canadian/British, Berlin based DJ, producer and label-head Tommy Lewis has been making waves around the globe with his unique sound. Tommy Lewis’ mixing and production style is characterised by groovy and up-tempo rhythms, both hypnotic and upbeat rhythmic. Lewis is the co-founder and label manager of PHTM, a label and collective established in 2019, centered around pushing the boundaries of driving and hypnotic Techno. Tommy Lewis has made a name for himself on an international scale, having toured extensively across North America and Europe. 

Tommy Lewis’ productions comprise raw, minimal textures and percussive elements, with a timeless sound crafted perfectly for the dancefloor. This mix begins with an experimental selection at a slow and steady pace and builds with a crescendo, increasing tempo and intensity and seamlessly transitioning in to dark, hypnotic rhythms.

A debut to remember.

Stepping into the booth at Tresor for the first time was surreal—a moment of pure energy, nerves, and raw emotion. There were stumbles, moments where I lost myself in overthinking, but through those, I found a deeper connection to the sound and the experience.

This set is deeply inspired by the sounds that have shaped me—the layered textures of Indonesian traditional music, the metallic resonance of gamelan, the sharp percussive hits, and the breakbeat elements I’ve always been drawn to. Blending these influences into my interpretation of techno felt natural, like a conversation between past and present, structure and chaos.

A heartfelt thank you to Hamy for inviting me into the New Faces program and giving me this opportunity, and to everyone who was there that night, moving with me.

This set is a reflection of that journey—hope you enjoy it as much as I did. <3

Based in Hanover, rauh. is a record label founded in 2011 by Session Restore. Since then, it has been a consistent force in the electronic music scene.
With nine vinyl releases to date rauh. continues to make its mark with carefully curated sounds.
The label also runs the podcast series "rauh_x", showcasing unique sets, and hosts various showcases and events, currently under the name "rauh im Indiego."

After being introduced to his first techno parties in the Berlin/Brandenburg area at the end of the 90s, it immediately became clear to the then-teenager that Session Restore would start DJing. In his sets, he enjoys blending timeless classics with new pieces, skillfully guiding his audience on a journey through techno, dub techno, and house. Beyond DJing, he is active as a producer, with over a dozen releases on vinyl labels such as Mojuba/a.r.t.less, Separate Skills, and his own label, rauh.
