Basstation Social Music is a non-profit project funded by homonymous company that has been promoting techno culture in Sardinia since 2004. It's dedicated to transform the local nightlife landscape, with the aim of creating a safer, healthier and more inclusive nighttime environment. This effort is carried out jointly with "Safer Night Goals", an organization committed to mitigating eventual adverse effects and to implement policies within our nocturnal realm. 

In support of this cause, Basstation Social Music is launching a CHARITY COLLECTION to honor the memory of artist and friend Mezmeric, who recently passed away. The third release on Quintessence is the debut single by @yaroslavikonnikov, a promo resident who has recently immersed himself in producing.

Musically, the track Unpacked Karma is inspired by the aesthetics of low-tech, hypnotic and trance. Dense palisade bass, analog modulations, dreamy arpeggios and non-standard percussion pattern — that's the sound on our agenda.

Author's comment:

"For me, it's the soundtrack of an inner, deep journey. Sometimes it feels like an endless and pointless running in circles, but it's not. Each new entry is getting rid of excess and pretense, from all this bug—eyed fuss that prevents our mighty spiritual principle from manifesting."
