How He Got Into DJing -

At the peak of the bloghouse era in 2007, Marcus, aka "Make Us", put down his trombone, picked up a MIDI controller, and dove into an endless world of bootlegs and remixes from artists around the globe. He started rocking house parties all through university, moved on to weddings, 70th birthday celebrations, and eventually graduation parties.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, which he uses to make his own custom visuals, and loves tinkering around with music any chance he gets.

Now he plans to stream to his audience via Twitch, where he gets to play what he wants and build a community around his favorite vibes.

What To Expect:

Introducing: Giometrix

Giometrix is a Naples-born DJ and electronic music enthusiast who fell in love with the scene back in the early 2000s—when legends like Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, Erick Morillo and Deep Dish were reshaping dance floors worldwide. 

Growing up in Italy’s buzzing cultural hub, he spent his teens chasing club nights and soaking up the energy of live DJ sets, which sparked his obsession with mixing music.

Everything changed when his dad, who worked at a recording studio, handed him a software copy of Traktor DJ. No fancy gear? No problem. Giometrix started mixing tracks with just a mouse and keyboard, hacking his way through until he could afford proper equipment. Those DIY days built his hustle—and a weirdly impressive music collection—as he recorded mix after mix, figuring out his sound.  

After high school, he moved to the USA, diving into a whole new world of music scenes. With making a ton of new friends, new doors opened to explore endless opportunities of sound, and added the electrifying beats of trance!

Nowadays, Giometrix thrives on variety, spinning everything from house to techno to trance, but there’s one rule: "I never play the same things unless worth playing.." After two decades of parties, experiments, and feeding off crowd vibes, he’s all about keeping sets fresh, unexpected, and 100% “him”. Catch him behind the decks, and you’ll get the vibe—no pretensions, just beats that hit right.
