I want to dedicate my very first complete remix to one of the greatest bands I had the pleasure of hearing. I have a dream of one day having at least 1% of the talent these guys have, it will be a long road to get there, but Depeche Mode will definitely play the soundtrack of this journey.

Our 10th voyage into sound is brought to you on this occasion by Chris Currie, better know as Dubrovnik (UK). The Glasgow based DJ & Producer has really been flexing his musical muscles over the last few years with his releases on Greyscale and Verdant, as well has some incredible tracks for OHM series and the mighty Lempuyang. 

His sound is hard to put into one specific box, which is always a good thing. Dubbed out house and techno, euphoric and uplifting while maintaining a level of deepness most can only aspire to. His sound has a uniqueness to it which in this current climate of saturation is the highest compliment we can pay. 

For this Frontier mix Chris has turned in a truly epic hour and 45 minute journey. He kicks  things off in the realms of deep house and heady, atmospheric dubbed out electronica. Before slowly moving through the gears into some real heads down dub techno that wouldn’t be put of place in an abandoned Berlin warehouse. He caps things off with some classy dub leaning techno cuts culminating in some straight up ravey bangers that will get your head nodding.   

We want to thank Chris for this contribution to the series, he certainly got the memo of what we asked for and has knocked it out of the park.
