      Raven Seiara grew up in the Dayton/Troy Ohio area. Music has always been a big part of her life, starting in the church choir and praise team. She grew up listening and singing along to a plethora of genres. Her musical influences stemmed from the  r&b/ neo soul she heard around the house, to the pop rock music of everyday fellow classmates, right back to the gospel music she sang on the praise team every Sunday morning. It's safe to say there was a melting pot of music stirring up within her. However, songwriting came differently. Throughout her childhood, she liked to write short stories and poems as a coping mechanism.  After the death of a very special uncle and father figure (Keith A. Jackson), she ventured into the ultimate therapy, song-writing. This is still a present-day passion and therapy.  

     Raven went on to graduate from Ohio University with two bachelor's degrees in human biology (Premed) and sociology. Raven gained experience giving vocal lessons and being a choir director while in attendance there.  She released her first debut album with Single "I Don't Care About You" in 2011 while on campus in conjunction with DJ iShine and 1SideEntertainment on bandcamp.com. After just one album, Raven took a break from writing but continued to sing on the praise team at Ark Ministries International.  

       Shortly before the covid pandemic in 2019, Raven jumped back into the sound of music.  To this day, she continues to write about love, heartache, friendship, and even family in her music. Raven states that "it's all about connection, and making people feel something. Music is a conversation." She quotes her Uncle Keith A. Jackson's words that "conversation moves the nation," and that's exactly what she's doing. She's conversing and relating with the people through her music and gift of song. Raven even argues that if she can reach just one person, then it's possible to reach a nation. She's returned with a new-found flavor for music, adding new skills to her artistry. Raven Seiara teases that she's ready to converse  with the people in a new way and take things to the next level.  Be on the lookout for new music coming soon!
