We stay in the family today. I composed this soundtrack for the latest project of my beloved wife, Etna. 

In her approach, the music is shown together with visual stimuli that induce craving for cocaine. Meanwhile, the neurometabolism in the brain's reward system is being recorded using MRI to see whether a new form of treatment implying a psychedelic dose of ketamine combined with neurofeedback training can restore the neurometabolic balance in the reward system and thus propose new strategies for future patients to control cocaine craving.

It seems that the participants in the study enjoyed the music, so I thought I might as well share it with you.

Zurich based producer and musician Georg Bleikolm aka KnoR has perfected and tested his skills in combining instrumental and electronic sounds by initiating and collaborating in internationally renowned musical projects like Rizzoknor, Tim and Puma Mimi and Fauve.

In 2015, the "minimalist" drummer returns to centre stage with his solo project, presenting his new KOBOI EP on the Swiss Label DKLK records . After several years with a resolutely techno musical approach, the artist frees himself from these conventions. By adding pop elements to his productions, "KnoR" enables himself to explore a more personal dimension of his creative universe. 

His secret garden is revealed on the track "It's Happening" where his voice blends with synthetic sounds to unfold onto a joyful rhythmic carpet. The images evoked are sober and violent, as demonstrated in the video clip produced by Berlin based animator Xaver Xylophon.

This is the fifth album of DKLK records. All tracks written, recorded, produced and mixed by Georg Bleikolm. Remix and additional production by Tim & Puma Mimi, Gregorythme and Larytta. Mastered by Dan Suter at echochamber.

'Die Walze' is a German song about heat, dancing and laissez-faire, and the first single from my next album, which will be released later this year. It's a kind of post-street parade meltdown, with a sound anchored between electro, techno and rock vibes. The whole track came to life magically when Simon Schwaninger dropped by the studio and picked up my guitar. Thanks for that, Simon !

After the great KOBOI EP and the internationally acclaimed song and videoclip It's Happening,  the transmedia artist KnoR is presenting his new project entitled “Don’t Go”. The 3 tracks music release features a music video and a mobile app. As a modern storyteller, KnoR reaches from pop music to virtual reality (VR) to spread a message of freedom. No less.

KnoR's new EP “Don’t Go” is composed of two original tracks and a remix by Canson. The title track Don't Go is a rich and surprising song: as the beat brings the listener back to the club, the lyrics are floating on a warm bass melody surrounded by a soundscape of rhythms with a very natural feel.

The message of the song is intensified in the music video realised with Berlin based filmmaker Xaver Xylophon. The movie invites the audience to step back and think. Walking through his life, KnoR questions his relationship to this place we call home: a place with borders and a nawhere we are too easily fooled.

The cornerstone of the release is the VR application developed with the computational artist Mativa and the Geneva based interactive studio apelab. “Don’t Go” becomes a virtual refuge where the user can immerse in an experience of total perception to forget his fears and the influence of daily media propaganda.

6. You're Donald Trump

After the release is before the release. Returning from the first chapter of his „Borderline Syndrome“ Tour, KnoR went directly back into his studio. It‘s Winter and the sky over Zurich is dressed in variations of sad pictures with gray overtones: a perfect set to write some dark poems.

The number of pre-productions grew quickly. Locked in his studio from dusk till dawn, the multi instrumentalist, tweaks his analogue synths, records his drumming and improvises on his guitar. Day after day, he develops unique song structures and lyrics. The resulting production landscape is very rich and diverse.KnoR sings in English, German and French and shackles the listener in a musical world liberated from conventions.

With this mini album KnoR is terminating his relation to an idealized world. „Lost souls are saved by the devil, while the speed of time spirals up. Our biological clocks seem to stop and we are stuck in a world where, folding back on our identity, love will be replaced by greed and apathy. Kind regards, Donald Trump.“

PLANET is a mini concept album dedicated to the sad world we live in and will be released on the label RAVE U R on November 25th.

KnoRs is looking for answers in the field of music, natural sciences, technologies and media. Over the years he was active as an environmental microbiologist, as a drummer and/ or producer in different bands (RizzoKnoR, Tim and Puma Mimi, Fauves), he studied Biology, composition for film and media and worked as an expert in the field of interactive and digital media for the Swiss government.
KnoR did his comeback as a solo artist in June 2015. His two first EPs were supported by the critics and the audience. KnoR integrates his compositions into storytelling elements and transmedia performances. KnoR engages in creation to defend his ideal world against the recurrent waves of #idiocracy.
The mini concept album PLANET is completing KnoR‘s first trilogy. Anti-capitalism (KOBOI) and anti-nationalism (DON‘T GO) are followed by new compositions questioning the role and the meaning of political establishment (PLANET). A logical build on a disruptive agenda.
