I started making this piece with the intention of it being a set of songs that could stand on their own as well as being an open collaboration, but then it took on a life of its own, and things just got out of hand from there, lol! 

But I still managed to control myself and didn’t add too many samples though, haha! 

I was listening to 1985 and 1986 hip hop singles when making this so….

You can download this for free as well as some of the unmixed stems on Bandcamp. The lyrics can also be found on Bandcamp since SC didn’t provide enough space in the song info. I reached my description limit!

We were a Munich band founded in the 90s, and some time after releasing our first album "cyclone cycle" in 1996, we decided to release self-burned EPs quarterly. This turned out to be quite ambitious, but at least we managed to produce the three EPs you can listen to here. The CD "run riot" was released in 10/1997, followed by "from satan to saturn" (01/1998) and "pyramidal riddle" (5/1998). All three EPs were recorded by ourselves on a second-hand Fostex R8 eight track machine in our rehearsal room, mostly live. By publishing these EPs here, we remind ourselves of a very intense and interesting time of our lives, and we hope you can enjoy some of the songs with us.
In January of 2000 we released the album "HCOOH", the last recording before the band split up. Finally, in 2001, the last album "retrospective", containing remixed and remastered songs, was published by Nasoni Records (http://www.nasoni-records.com/Raw_Jaw_release_Retrospective.html).
