UL’s Bio

Christopher Terry Aka UL (Understand Life) is a family oriented story telling MC who’s been dropping food for thought music seriously for the last 7 years. He has been making music off and on since 2005. A mixtape (facts of life) and 2 albums (Unerstand Life) which is available on datpiff and a project  he did with Etcetera Etcetera a group he formed with his good friend K Infinity called (Something for the People) which you can find on all platforms, Spotify itunes, Apple Music etc. Born in NY raised in CA u can hear the Ny roots in his voice, blended with the California flavor. He was very influenced by his beloved Mother and Father Dorothy Ann Stewart Terry and Christopher Van Terry. May they Rest In Peace. His musical influence is a long list of dope mc’s, but Big, Jay-Z, Scarface and Nas just to name a few. UL has released several singles. CaChi feat Dat Bizness, Granny, No more, Raincoat which was done with his son ATA, Equibrium feat Kc chatman and Trinity Zion, Winnner with 3 N’s lol, Movie and Movie 2 (The Gift), which are also on all platforms and there’s a lot more to come. UL just wants to make music that will heal and make people think. He really wants his music to live on long after he’s gone. Nothing but good music and u will find out soon as u play something.
