Pietro La Calamita (https://soundcloud.com/petermlc) falls in love with music very young, inheriting the passion for the early sounds of 70's disco from his father, vinyl enthusiast. The art of DJing soon becomes his new mean of expression and thus, after several years dedicated to music, he decides to give a name to his deejay/producer project: Peter LC.
His selection is marked by a constant research focusing on house music and includes tracks which are deeply rooted into disco, jazz and funk.
He loves to mix 70's italian records with the most avant-guard sounds, both digital and vinyl releases.
Peter comes from Matera, south of Italy, where he had the chance to propose his music to thousands of people sharing the decks with remarkable international artists such as Marshall Jefferson, Omar S, Move D, Gianmarco Orsini and many more coming from the house scene.
The unconditional love for music and his ideas and views are the roots of his newborn label Discodelic Records; his mission in to join the passion for house music with a strong environmental awareness.

After a brief break to recharge the batteries as we saw out 2021 @MomentCinetique are back, and in some style, with label regular Tiptoes. As we are coming to expect from @tiptoesmusic1 he has delivered an absolute scorcher of an EP featuring what is in essence a three part house movement.

Our premier today from the EP is Tape Crusades Part 1, a powerhouse deep house track. Featuring chunky club ready drums, loopy synth stabs and a variety of vocal samples which all add texture, movement and energy it's an outstanding piece of music.

Guided by his innate talent for creating avant-guard sounds and nurtured by his inspiring hometown surroundings in Apulia, Peter LC is on an incessant quest to refine his musical skills and to continue captivating ever-growing audiences on a global stage.

Unafraid to push boundaries, he experiments with Italo House, Italo Disco, Disco, Deep-Tech, and Classic House genres, continually evolving his unique sound and collaborating with fellow international artists and music labels, such as Appetite, Groovin Recordings, Small Great Things, Raw Soul, Disco Disco Records, See-Saw, Endless Music, Major Underground, and many more.

Peter LC regularly showcases his eclectic way of selecting music throughout the European musical capitals of London, Berlin, Milan, Madrid, and Ibiza.
