Astrix - Psy-Fi Book of Changes Mix

Felix Fleer starts of the A-side by exploring his roots in classical music through implementing a grand piano into a rhythmically challenging yet hypnotic techno weapon in an seemingly effortless manner. Jonas Landwehr continues diving deeper into his fascination for airy pad sounds and unique percussion styles that are not less silky than they are warm and powerful. Rythen closes the A-side with an electrifying and stomping floorkiller. 

Under their Environ. moniker Rythen & Felix Fleer open up the B-side by revisiting the previously encountered piano theme in a more club oriented way. The last words on this release are spoken by Alderaan, one of the most promising newcomers of the currently flourishing techno scene from Buenos Aires. With 'Clarity' he delivers a tooly, yet psychedelic techno trip.

After that, he has been focusing more intensely on techno sounds. He pursues powerful grooves, and intense sounds in repetitive techno sound. Now he is making the groove in the way of his own at Vurt, Seoul.

Synthek is a Berlin based Dj and producer, owner of Natch Records and STK imprint. Always seeking for new influences, over the past years the style of his sets and productions faced a constant evolution, focusing on deep rhythmics and powerful, introspective vibes. Following few successful eps on Natch Records, he released the debut album Unwise, in collaboration with the label partner AudioLouis. Unwise, seen as their last co-produced effort, got consecutively remixed by Polar Inertia, Antigone and Varg among others. Synthek started curating the booking of New Faces Wednesdays at Tresor Berlin since 2014, becoming a respected presence behind the decks of the legendary venue, especially for closing sets. The idea of creating STK, a self titled imprint – home of his own productions only – gives him the freedom to experiment new approaches to music production and reshape his signature sound. The initial wave of 3 Eps ‘VERSE’, launched in July 2015, brought him to look slightly away from the dancefloor, and finally orienting towards mind-twisting and psychedelic compositions. Beside STK,since his last appearance on Attic Music, for D.A.N.C.E 2, he released new material, like MRI Ep on the Russian label Wunderblock, a remix alongside Svreca on spanish Redpoint Alert, and a contribute for a compilation on OVUNQVE. In the summer 2017, he brought up his biggest effort and second album (but first solo) “Transitions Of Life”, released on Natch Elements – an introspective extension of Natch Records – giving to the audience a real showcase of himself in any shades and details, followed by an incredible ep on Attic Music, to close his very productive and intense year. He joined the Berlin Agency OECUS in the beginning fo the year 2018.

In his artistic career Pär has released music across a plethora of acclaimed electronic labels, including a string of hits on his own Stockholm LTD imprint as well as Drumcode, with frequent collaborator Hardcell. Pär’s recent output has seen him contribute music to labels such as Semantica, Leyla, and Weekend Circuit. Pär continues to serve as one of the most exciting and hardworking contributors to the scene. Every inch of Pär’s work, including labels, artwork, release info and music, is wrapped with heart and emotion, a quality which keeps the sparkle and curiosity alive within the ever-changing adaptations of the artistic world.

Colombian (Brooklyn based) multi instrumentalist Ela Minus is a humble rebellion to the overly produced-laptop driven electronic music scene. Ela is a one-woman all hardware electronic orchestra. Following a strong desire to maintain the essence of improvisation both in recorded as well as on live music, she does not use any laptops in absolutely any stage of her production or live performances. She does everything herself and performs live using only hardware machines and her voice.

Originally a drummer Ela has had a long career as a multi instrumentalist for countless projects. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. She moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music where she graduated with a dual major and moved to Brooklyn, NY. Where she worked at the synthesizer company Critter & Guitari alongside her career as a touring drummer, as well as her solo career.
