Berlin house label Home Again lines up a versatile stack of tracks from Brazilian rooted producer Thalo Santana, with his best buddy DJOKO on remix duties.

Coming to Berlin via Cologne, Santana is a much-loved resident of the Home Again event series which was launched four years ago by Berlin DJ and producer Thabo. Meeting through work, Santana soon found a permanent slot within the Home Again collective as he and Thabo shared the same musical vision, and together they developed this vision into what the label represents today. While based in Cologne, Santana, with man of the hour DJOKO among others, launched an event and label collective in HOOVE which thrived and later found roots in Berlin.

The EP kicks off with ‘Sonne’, a thumping chugger with its vigorous 4 to the floor heat, kinetic pace and energy-kicking melody. DJOKO, a producer who’s risen up the ranks with a slew of cuts via labels Berg Audio and Rutilance, gives ‘Sonne’ a rerub, going deeper with punchy drums that shift smoothly into a rapturous, vocal-led breakdown.

Each track captures a moment from that night: "Rooms" captures the raw, intimate energy of Room 3, reworked by Triptil into a stripped-back rominimal journey; "WeGo", the playful mantra repeated all day — “We go Fabric!”; and "Afterlight", where the adrenaline fades but the inspiration lingers.

The artwork mirrors this story — every circle, line, and dot marks a step, a connection, all the moments that led Nofex to his debut at Fabric and sparked the creation of this EP — a true symbol of persistence, passion, and purpose.

Kickin’ off with infectious, 2-step energy ‘Hooked On You’ is a poppin’ jam for hazy days and sunkissed dancefloors. Next up ‘Facettes’ takes retro elements and gives them new life in this glorious funk-filled, swinging cut. Taking it up a notch on, ‘Bad To The Bone’ is a chunky house pumper with all the right ingredients - stripped back vocals, swirly synths, piano stabs - dancing over a killer groove. Techy B2 ‘Jode Lade’ nod to DJOKO’s musical upbringing. Bouncy and minimal, his most stripped back offering on the EP but still prime dancefloor heat. DIGI BONUS. In The Zone rounds out the EP on a similar note, bursting with raw 90’s textures to get lost in.

Finishing off our 2020 release schedule with a bang after what has been an eventful year. LCN 013 features 3 collaborations from two hot upcoming artists, Close to Custom and Astre. You can hear the individual styles in each track which blend and work together perfectly, with deep grooves and a nice touch on the vocals. On remix duties we have two huge artists, Alex Ranerro and man of the moment DJOKO. Both remixers add their signature spin on the originals featuring a mix of chords and synth stabs accompanied with a subtle rolling bassline.
