Istanbul-based producer/DJ trio @triartmusic release a brand-new single titled 'Oblivion' which marks their first new track in 2021. The trio, consisting of Furkan Kilicaslan, Gorkem Gokkaya and Ensar Sahin who got to know each other at the beginning of high school years and whose childhood dreams gathered them in the Triart project, continue to chase their story to create a common aesthetic in their music coalescing with art where powerful emotions emerge and sounds from a diverse range of genres are blended with each other.

Triart's brand-new single 'Oblivion' stands for a change in their storytelling up to now which has been conveyed to fans via a tetralogy of releases from 2019 onward. Despite they turn over a new leaf in their storytelling, they keep going on their signature sound. In times we gradually start to unchain ourselves as normalization is on the front burner of the globe, it's time to forget the past for the trio. In their new single, Triart focuses more on steady grooves that are adorned with contemporary peak-time flavours and instantly catchy melodies. When the mighty synth hook comes into play, the precisely built atmosphere of the track ramps things up. 'Oblivion' signifies the start of a new narrative for Triart, but it doesn't mean they give up discovering new zones in the darker end of the spectrum.

As a standout and highly requested track in Maceo Plex sets over the last year, his Ellum Audio label finally releases Raxon's 'The Cage of Love,' an epic cover of trance classic 'Age of Love'. 

The original 'Age of Love' is a genre and era-defining tune. Despite its legendary status, Raxon is an artist who is more than up to the challenge of reinterpreting it for contemporary dance floors. The Egyptian-born, Barcelona-based artist is an underground mainstay with a fantastic album on Kompakt, top singles on Ellum Audio and Cocoon Recordings and gigs all over the world. He has teased this track at many of them, and it has never failed to light up the dance floor. 

'The Cage Of Love' has an all-new techno feel with a taught bassline and slapping drum funk. The lead synths are molten and futuristic, while the original's vocal adds the iconic hook. The track builds in layers, teasing and then pleasing when it finally drops as the dance floor explodes and the laser-like synths spray about the mix with a life of their own. 

The vinyl comes with extended and instrumental mixes, while digital downloads include the radio edit and extended mixes. 

This is a new high point for Raxon and a bona fide classic in the making from Ellum Audio.

Raxon - The Cage Of Love

Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. Two sure fire tracks to ignite the floor.

The „I Protect This House EP“ is pure dance floor rampage.
On the title track, Dino Lenny teams up with vocalist Wasiu who raps over Lenny’s brutal and hypnotic beat - this explosive cocktail is sure to make your speakers burst.
And for „My Way“, the two also get Diynamic Alumnus Raxon on board, keeping the energy on 11 and, with the dizzying bassy synth, making all the heads spin.

Will Clarke mans the controls: Making his Dirtybird debut in January with "Badness" on DIRTYBIRD 10, follwing up with "The Boogie Woogie" EP and lazer-snapping "808Frenzy" on "DIRTYBIRD BBQ - Grill$ons Revenge" collection, the bristly Bristol-based spandex enthusiast has enjoyed a beautiful summer with releases on Defected, Emerald City and Turbo and unforgettable shows across the US, Australia and Europe.

Returning to the label with the bulbous two-track EP "Turn It Up," Clarke does just that: Writhing in carnal groove simplicity, he taps into the roots of timeless, low-down, butt-wriggling house music with three obscene examples of strong-armed tech funk. "Can You Funk" punches with Breach-level hookiness, and Turn It Up does the loopy-loop with Dirtybirds trademark vocal trippiness.

Adam Beyer’s Drumcode juggernaut attracts more fans and critical plaudits with each passing year. Holding firm on its future facing ethos, techno’s number one label presents a new volume in its acclaimed A-Sides series with 20 prime tracks to signify its 20th anniversary. 

Such is the volume of quality music Adam Beyer receives throughout the course of the year, releasing all of it would be impossible. Enter the blue chip A-Sides series: a chance for the quality-obsessive label head to issue a collection of outstanding tracks that couldn’t fit in their regular EP release schedule. 

With an eye on future talent, as much as the label’s established roster of heavy-hitters, the compilation showcases the full breadth of Drumcode’s multifaceted techno sound, equal parts inspiring and functional. 

Led by the stealth techno funk of ‘Nine of You’, Beyer’s deft collaboration with Mark Reeve, the compilation takes in exciting highlights from big guns such as Alan Fitzpatrick, Dustin Zahn, Bart Skils, Pleasurekraft, Luca Agnelli, Jay Lumen, Kaiserdisco and Gary Beck. 

The rich vein of form displayed by emerging techno talent is similarly given prime position. Rising DJ/producer Boxia makes his Drumcode debut, fresh from a well-received warm up set for the crew at the hugely successful Junction 2 festival in London, while the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, Juan Sanchez, Ian O’Donovan and Timmo also drop fire, establishing their credentials as some of the most promising talent breaking through the ranks in 2016. 

Reinforcing the global scope of the label, artists such as The Junkies from Toronto and Layton Giordani from New York, prove techno is winning a place in the heart of the new generation of artists coming out of North America.

Brame & Hamo continue to showcase their versatility with dancefloor-focused material, this time landing on Maceo Plex's Ellum Audio imprint with their new single 'It’s Time To' featuring Anthony Acid. 

Following their well received Feel My Bicep release, as well as the recent remix for Ninja Tune’s Counter Records imprint and their always reliable self-titled label releases, the Brame & Hamo are steadily unveiling more of their gripping sound profile. The new anthemic track builds on their diverse catalogue with a throwback house jam complete with dark, looped vocals, gritty acid stabs and banging percussion. The track's been a favorite for Maceo Plex in recent months, and it's easy to why.

Berlin based live artist and sound engineer Hybrasil presents the ninth release on his eponymous label. As with all Hybrasil label releases, Osiris EP features three tracks from his live show. 

This is his first release since his debut album 'Embers' dropped on Radio Slave's Rekids imprint last November, following a strong debut on the Berlin label with 'Afra EP'. The heavy affiliation with the label continued recently as Hybrasil found himself joining the imprint for his debut at, Panorama Bar. 

The artwork is part of a series featuring the work of Polish photographer Max Zarna, taken from the 'Exhibit' series on the Hybrasil Music Blog.

True to the collaborative creative ethos that lies at the core of Berlin's arts scene, this latest release from Sous Music is very much a home-grown entity. Featuring the production talents of Tesla286 & Freestyle Man who, along with Anja Schneider, are partners in the production, mixing and mastering house, Blackhead Studios, it was inevitable that a collaboration would eventually flourish from this day-to-day working arrangement.

Anja Schneider's remix takes 'Yssabeua' in a 4/4 direction, reconstructing Kinski's vocal and morphing the arrangement to a more dancefloor fit that combines a punchy groove with a liquid flow of shimmering, playful ascending riffs, creating a feel-good ambient house vibe.
