For this project I wanted to re-record my Jamuary track “Glitched Guitar / Lots of Ripples”. I chose this track because I thought it was just a simple guitar melody and a bit of knob twisting with effects and therefore easy to reproduce with voice.

Alas the original track was made with Norns Glitchlooper - a five track asynchronous looper with a mind of its own - fed into Norns RPLS, which can be a delay, a looper or anything in between. So it was really impossible to get the same result. Also pitched voices don’t have the same appeal as pitched guitar plucks. My submission sounds a bit like a birdhouse after you handed out the wrong birdseed. Still, it was a fun challenge to try and do this based on just voice.

Disquiet Junto Project 0635: ’Round the Bend
The Assignment: You’re in a duo, and your bandmate is a train.

I took a part from the long train recording and added different kinds of improvisations, following my intuition, using a MicroFreak thru Soma Cosmos (avoiding any rhythm) and some Landform. The maxim was to use the rhythm in order to ignore it as much as possible.
