This week Rich Vacated switches the usual Label Focus for an Artist Focus -- which will focus on an Artists output rather than you're standard "guest DJ mix" -- and first up in this new feature is hardware-based techno duo Chrononautz. With releases lined up for One Eyed Jacks and Folding Space in 2014 and a residency at their new club night Sect in Leeds -- which starts on May 2nd -- the duo have put together a special mix of their own releases for a 30 minute closing set to the show. This week's featured album comes from the shadowy Swedish techno artist Abdulla Rashim, with his superbly produced debut album, Unanimity.

9AMish Sunday morning closing out the Saturday night party at the Disco Knights Cosmic Campout.  The crowd has dwindled a little from lack of sleep but the vibes have not.  Basically I just go in and get as cosmic as possible.

Burning Man has always been my favorite place to DJ in the world. There's a certain feeling of freedom I experience playing music on the playa, and this feeling arises from the beauty of the physical surroundings, the enthusiasm of the people who wander onto the dance floor, and my own attitude that shapes how I approach my sets in the desert.

Thank you to the entire Kazbah crew for gifting me a timeslot. Such a beautiful group of people who created a spectacular platform to artists to share music. I hope you enjoy the recording!

Spanish DJ/producer Raye has achieved much at a relatively young age.
Having started producing at the age of 22, he dedicated much of his time growing up in Madrid to his love of electronic music. He immersed himself
in his art, and began both exploring and creating new and innovative sounds.
His music style developed rapidly and he developed a unique style for which he quickly became known.
Raye’s reputation for mixing and creating powerful sets, with deep cuts and energetic bursts have given him acclaim across the country. He began releasing music with Spanish record labels early in his career, and formed an exciting alliance with fellow producer Alex Ferrer. Together they co-founded the music label Deeplomatic Recordings. The formation of Deeplomatic Recordings saw releases of EPs that have become well known amongst big stalwarts of the industry. Their music has been remixed by artists such as Miguel Puente, Horatio and Berny, to name a few. Raye has also collaborated with other great producers such as Joeski and Rick Wade.
Raye is well respected and firmly established in the club scene. He is resident DJ in ‘Studio 76’, one of the most prestigious clubs in Madrid, and is in demand across the country with regular appearances at clubs such as SanPapa, Warehouse, Entity and Class. His international work has progressed rapidly, and has seen him play in the US, UK, Mexico, France, Germany and Thailand, to name a few. He will often be seen in music festivals such as Burning Man, Coincidance and Electrosplash and has shared the DJ booth with artists such as Robert Babicz, Fur Coat, Francesca Lombardo, Funk D’Void, Einmusik, Atish and Tiefschwarz.
2017 has started with a new alliance, having being signed by one of the largest agencies in South America, ‘The Mothership Agency’. After playing in Coincidance festival in Mexico, Raye toured in California and Columbia. He will be releasing some long awaited tracks this year, and with upcoming appearances in Italy, Japan and Switzerland, as well as his on-going residency in Studio 76, 2017 looks to be another exciting year for Raye.
