🎵 Bei dieser Specialausgabe des KataHaifisch Podcasts handelt es sich um ein Live-Set dem Kater Blau, genauer gesagt um einen Mitschnitt einer 45 Katzen Tanzen Auf‘m Tisch. Hinter diesem 81 minütigen Machwerk verbirgt sich das Musikproduzenten Team Kyongpaul. Das in Berlin beheimatete Liveact Duo hat eine Vorliebe für musikalische Improvisation. Drums und Percussions werden von Gig zu Gig ganz individuell in Szene gesetzt. Dadurch entsteht eine außergewöhnliche Dynamik in den Rhythmen und die Musik wird zu einem lebendigen Organismus. Diese Leichtigkeit durchzieht den gesamten Podcast und versetzt die Hörer in einen unbeschwerten Gemütszustand. Wieder einmal bietet dieses Exemplar die ideale Soundkulisse für beinahe jedes erdenkliche Setting.

So grateful for this beautiful experience. Thank you to my love Mira, I had the honor to play the closing for Mira's Birthday. I played for 8 hours on Tuesday morning. One of my best sets, high energy, and so many friends stayed and danced till the end inclusive of the birthday queen. Only 5 hours are recorded then the recorder stopped but so happy about these 5 hours. Thank you soo soo much. Love you

Theo Meier is a Vienna based producer and DJ, who discovered his talent at an early age. As a kid, he started composing his own music on piano and discovered music theory basics on his own. He released his first tracks  on Traum Schallplatten’s infamous Tour de Traum, followed by an EP on Einmusika Recordings titled “Go-Sig-Nu”, which showed his serious ambition. It was only a matter of time until he gained international attention and has since released on labels such as Poesie Musik, Get Physical and Stil Vor Talent. 
 
Theo’s sound ranges from deep and organic house to melodic techno while keeping his unique and signature sounds composed of moving harmonies, catchy grooves, and warm synth sounds. By incorporating new and unique elements into his sets and productions, he is able to inspire emotions and set himself apart from the norm. Currently, he runs his own label Weltn Audio and promises of more surprises on the way while continuing to deliver his passion in the best way possible.

Mila Stern plays music like a vole swinging a glow stick. Gently but firmly she pushes us forward. Little kicks in the back side towards happiness get us dancing on our toes until we want to cry out: “Whaaat?!”
Mila was musically raised in youth centres & squats, ripened in Tel Aviv to finally graduate to the best clubs that Germany offers. She prefers a course around 123,4 bpm, sliding through with some shorter and occasionally with longer transitions. Preferably well-rested. But even crumpled, she has surprised us with utter superiority!

Space travel still is a mystery. Final frontiers that turn out to be not that final at all. Borders turn into beginnings. The magic that is the endlessness. LUMINESCENCE
The greatest thing about traveling the cosmos ist the feeling of standing on a new surface and see another sun crawling up the horizon. Knowing to be the first human to ever witness this experience. And if your Walkman - an ancient playing device you brought for whatever reason - is playing „Luminescence“… well… in that moment you just know to be at the right place, with the right sound, at the right moment. And you start a bit of luminescence on your own, as you get lost in the melodies, analogue synths, atmospheres and different textures.

STELLAR DUST
And one day you will be back. Back home. Back on earth, or whatever planet it is that you come from. You will be sitting down collecting all the memories, and glue pictures into thick books and put a bit of extra glue on some of the pages. To sprinkle them with STELLAR DUST. To hold the stories there, to keep the warmth inside.

Do you have to fasten your seatbelts in space?

DCMB Records is a crew and label that was born out of a desire to give back to the vibrant electronic music scene in Berlin. Co-founders Filipe Dionysos Santana and Nuno Roque, both Portuguese-born residents of Berlin, began by hosting events at iconic venues like Berlin Ballhaus, where they combined live visual arts with music to create an immersive experience for attendees. The name DCMB is a nod to the four cities that have played a significant role in the development of electronic music and rave culture.
Since its inception, the crew has grown to become a respected name on the scene, with a roster of exciting young artists, a label and a regular event schedule that has taken them to venues like Anomalie, Ritter Butzke, Remise, Birgit, Bulbul, Beate Uwe, Chalet ,Burg Schnabel and many others. They are hosting two event series "Find Your Roots" and “ALT_F4”, showcasing their artists and providing the best techno music experience for the attendees.
With sounds ranging from high-speed techno and groovy hypnotic beats to progressive house and downtempo, DCMB Records serves up a diverse array of electronic music for all tastes. The crew's goal is to create memorable moments on the dance floor and to continue to evolve and grow as they take little big steps towards a brighter future.

Britta Arnold's Upcoming Gigs



When you hear creeping high hats, hypnotic beats and a pop of acid, chances are you‘re hearing Britta Arnold from the console of her musical spaceship. Straightforward and distinctively poised, her unique blend of beats makes for a milkshake of cosmic potency. For this elegant fire red, her pledge to break norms and find the hottest music on the block has gained her quite the following and opened up a fantastic world of people, places and special moments. Since co-founding the Bar25 label in 2006, her nights are spent playing gigs anywhere between Asia, America and Europe, while many of her days are spent in the studio where she dreams up new music. She has released on Katermukke and Heinz, remixed tracks by ‘It boys’ Satori and Stavroz, and been remixed by the likes of Claude VonStroke and Ruede Hagelstein. Aside from this, her new musical project ‘Britta Unders’ with Amsterdam based Unders, is adding even more magic to her minutes. They are playing sets from sundown to sunrise together all over the world but also started a new label Happy Camper, this will be launched November 2017 with artists as Mira, Be Svendsen, dOP and Noraj Cue. When not doing these things, she’s probably planning her GRRR Mit BRRR party — a celebrated event at the Berlin club, Kater Blau. 



A born and bred Berliner who never had to learn how to be one, Britta reflects the city in which she still calls home: a little edgy, a little down to earth and always filled with artistic ambition. Having once lived in a caravan with her cat ‘katuscha’ on the grounds of the Bar25, she takes this Happy Camper vibe with her into every space she enters, whether the club, the festival, the studio or a walk through her home town. With the support from her global electronic family pushing her in the right direction and a naughty box of tunes on her back, the future of this lady from outer space only goes from strength to strength. So get your space suit on and go intergalactic roaming with your best friends and lovers. Do it to the hypnotic and wired sound of Britta Arnold.
