As I recall, people felt the 8P was too clean sounding compared to the Jupiter. It can definitely sound more DX-7 than most analogs. Nice track, nice sound (as always with you). And thanks for the bit about Final Countdown as I didn't know that.

Here's one of my old tunes, recreated using my Roland JX-8P for all synth sounds and FX.  The synthesizer would have been built in either 1984 or 1985, so likely older than many listeners :)

Pure analog, although processed using some digital effects in Propellerhead Reason, and then mastered in iZotope Ozone.
