As a huge fan of Tangerine Dream, especially their work around the late 70's and early 80's one of my favourite albums is POLAND.
This track is my attempt so sound as if it was written to fit into a similar live set, a homage to the great Synth Gods.

This time I've used the lyrics from a well known Swedish funeral song by Carl Michael Bellman (1740-1795): Fredmans Epistel N:o 81 - Bellman, a k a "Märk hur din skugga".

There's little trace from the original melody, which is dark & depressing. Oh well, it's a funeral song.

I wanted to keep just a tiny bit of that mood, but have contrasting parts in major.
(I remember many years ago listening to a very happy Japanese song. Happy until I checked that the lyrics was about - not happy at all)

The lyrics is in Swedish, which is my native language, but I use both northern and southern dialect.
