another older track I'd like to try to expand on some day. Just didn't have the playing chops at the time of recording it. Still don't  :O)

This track was also used (temporarily) as a middle section of an alternate, slower and extended version of ‘Jazzy Ditty’, one of my favourite tracks. But I hope to eventually replace it with something that fits better. 

Artwork is a variation I did (added guitar strings) on a well known Matisse print.

I'm not sure which is more maddening these days — the situation in Ukraine or the situation in America. Hell, the middle east is also crap. I'm just mad at it all. 

The air-raid siren was recorded in Kyiv by vkvych (freesound.org).

When I started composing this piece in December, after buying Spitfire Originals Intimate Strings on sale, I had these thoughts: If this is what the future is going to look like, I didn't sign up for it. Although in my youth I read and watched a lot of SF films presenting both utopia and dystopia, I always preferred the bright future. However, what I see on TV, on YouTube and outside my window is starting to resemble the latter...

Despite this, I hope you like the piece at least a little bit

Tis a noble sport but it does have its downside. The lifespan of a wrestler is typically reduced by 15-20 years attributed to the health consequences of the sumo diet. They are also banned from driving cars partly due to being too big to fit behind a steering wheel.       Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by and listening! This song I wrote back in 2013 and it was just another love song with my favorite color in it for my wonderful wife! Can anyone guess what my favorite color is? Blue is correct! I've written many songs with the color blue in the title like: "Blue, Blue"; "Somewhere In Blue"; "Heavrnly In Blue"; "Big Blue Tree",  ect, ect, well it goes on and on. It's jazzy and easy listening and with NO A.I. can you dig it? I think the inspiration for this one was me asking my lovely wife why she is seldom in blue, or something like that. This is another of my jazzy love songs with a Latin rhythm to it. Charlie sang it beautifully. This song was written in the tradition of "The Great American Songbook". You know, like Gershwin, Berlin, Porter used to write. Very old fashioned but I remember I added a Sitar to it to give it that dreamy sound and I think I used heavy echo on Charlie's vocal at some point in the song too!

      The video I put together last year at some point in time but can't recall too much about it, just a beautiful woman in a beautiful blue dress. It drops tomorrow on YouTube, be there or be square! Not too much audio or video effects in this one. My name is Rayna and I host a radio show on VOWR.ca (VOWR 800AM if you’re on the Island) It is a wonderful all volunteer Radio Station celebrating 100 YEARS on the air in 2024  We are located in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.  

I started a new show called the “The Unsigned Radio Hour” where I give artists from SoundCloud and other venues a chance to have their songs heard on the radio.
